It's almost funny how desperate some on the left are to conflate gun owners with haters—and instructive to see how filled with hate some of these "progressives" reveal themselves to be. A good example of this is the meme that the Second Amendment March is scheduled to take place on April 19 to celebrate the 15th anniversary of the Oklahoma City bombing.
Here's a sample of sentiment gleaned from around the web:

This is just a group of gun nuts who think they are going to stand up to the black president and show him who is boss. I am sure some Republican will get involved to make money off of this little rally. The FBI will be watching these guys like bugs under glass.
There is one other thing, there are more guns on the street than these goons can even imagine. The PD has already said they don't guarantee their safety.

Coryell is everything the left hates: He is a Christian. He is a patriot. He is a devoted husband, father, and grandfather. He is a publisher and an author, in the tradition of Thomas Paine.
Moreover, Skip Coryell is a proud and unapologetic gun owner, a man who believes the preservation of our Republic is impossible without the unhindered exercise of our Second Amendment rights.

MSNBC’s whole act is to bash anyone not overtly communist. There was a thread on FR recently that claimed maddow was pro-2nd Amendment, and some Freepers were ignorant enough to voice support for her.

Rachael, yours and olberman’s combined viewership didn’t even rise to that of Sarah Palin’s new show. You also had several ‘no shows’ including tingly leg chrissie, botoxed ms. greenberg, etc. It’s time to fold your cards and turn off the lights.
You are right, Mr. Maddow is a sexual deviant and like Ellen Degenerate she is nothing more than an affirmative action project to try to mainstream and normalize homosexuality by flaunting it in the face of the American people. Tim Russert dies and they put little Timmy Jr. in there to take his place, that is the liberal mindset, it is the “fair” thing to do. Funny thing is, I don’t see any blacks in that MSNBC lineup, they should be given the same chance to have dismally low ratings as the white people.
