I am amazed that the teacher would come forth and try to prove a negative....the most she could possibly say is that she did not see the incident.....but to say it never happened means that she would have had to be with Tiger at all times. He was a real tough old man...did his duty...maybe a “dinosaur” maybe saw and did too much, hard to say...sure did some remarkable things...I was raised by those kinds of guys, my Dad being a lifer, so I understand them pretty well, I think...

Perhaps, because Tiger was 'golden' for not only the four years since he wrote his book; but for the entire time he has been on scene. How/why. . .at what point does someone come out and betray the 'golden image' without risking a great deal.
Would bet that only now, with Tiger's once unassailable character - now tarnished - could this story muster any credibility - and the teacher not endanger herself by telling it.
