From what I understand, the "Kenyan-born" line was not in the original AP feed but was added by the Kenyan newspaper you quoted. I don't know if that was because they had inside knowledge or just wanted to boost sales by adding a local angle.

It's the Internet. I can not and will not vouch for the veracity of any link. People have to use their own best judgment.

Some of us self-identify as Irish, Italian, Polish, etc.; it could have been that kind of mistake.
My grandfather was born in Germany, but I don't think of myself as German. I don't even drink beer.
I'm an American. My heart is here.

If this is legit why isn’t Hannity, Limbaugh and every conservative leaning newspaper in the country running with this. I’d be afraid to show this around without proof it’s for real.

If Bush (or any Republican) had made a similar misstatement about, say, Germany being his "home country", can you imagine the furor that would result?

It’s from a Kenyan newspaper - not the most reliable source.

The video appears pretty real. It just came out as of 2 days ago and the media have other reasons for not discussing Obama’s lack of eligibility, which they are not publicly announcing.

Its from a Kenyan newspaper - not the most reliable source. How about from the Kenyan Parliament who discussed Obama's election victory on November 5, 2008:
"Mr. Deputy Speaker, Sir, the President-elect, Mr. Obama, is a son of the soil of THIS country... It is only proper and fitting that the country which he originates from should show the excitement...."

That article has supposedly been “Snoped”, and I don’t believe it—it looks fishy because...
.... it refers to the AP as a “birther organization in 2004”.
So I guess I can pose the a similar argument that the anti-birthers pose about the newspaper ad that supposedly proves his US birth, here it goes: “Yeah the AP KNEW he was going to be president, and they KNEW the “birther” crowd would someday NEED something like this to continue controversy”.

Is that real or photoshop?
I saw a similar photo of a Kenyan sign that had the exact same background—it could have been a reverse job though—where they photoshopped what you posted to make what you posted look fake.

Me too. I was sent to a Snopes link that referred to the AP as “birthers in 2004”. PLEASE. Snopes can’t even be believed at this point.
