Scores of gangbangers marauded through Times Square and nearby streets last night, storming businesses and harrassing pedestrians as three people were shot in possibly related violence. Hundreds of cops struggled to disperse the youths. One man was shot in the ankle on West 41st Street between Seventh and Eighth avenues. Early this morning two people were shot at 34th Street between Seventh and Eighth avenues. Their conditions were not immediately known. Twenty young men were seen fleeing the scene. * * * At least 30 people, including seven juveniles, were arrested by early this morning. In past years, the NYPD and businesses have beefed up security in the area on Easter Sunday, which has become known in certain circles as "Gang Initiation Day."

I could take an educated guess as to the race of the perps.
As for the victims, I happened to walk through the T-SQ area last week and noticed a LOT of tourists, which is normal for that area.
Yes, I am well aware of this crime — imagine if the races were reversed; we would still be hearing about it every night on the evening news!!!
Of course I must remind you that the only way I ever even heard of this heinous act was through its reporting on
Free Republic!!
Wow, amazing footage — wonder what kind of weapons they transported in the horse drawn vehicle? I hate to racially or ethnically profile, but groups like this need to be stopped and searched

Just showed video on FOX — two important issues: (1) none of the female perpetrators were wearing their bonnets; (2) looks like all of the perpetrators must have spent lots of time at the beach before conducting this riot; lots of deep dark tanned faces — so unbecoming the Amish!!

Not just bank commercial; all commercials involving criminal activity. I have yet to see a TV commercial or AD where the perpetrator is other than white, or an AD for a criminal justice school where the perpetrator being arrested on standing in court is any race other than white. You know, we do all the crime in America — why point out any other race?
