I am of mixed feelings about chases. If they are chasing a perp for, say, auto theft, I do not think a high-speed chase is in order. Innocent people can get killed or injured, and all for a crime that results in a slap on the wrist.

I live in Pelzer, SC and I remember seeing this on the news several months ago. I told my husband then that you can expect to see the crime rate in Wellford go up drastically. We won’t be moving there anytime soon, that’s for sure. What an idiot that mayor is.
