You are right. There is no possible reason for any commissioned officer, to have a public gut check. No US Constitutional duty is bound by law. It is all up to King George. Where ever you have gathered and held such notions is beyound the reach of our God given goverment, sir.
What's this constitution thing you mention? Isn't that the document that the federal government disposed of?
One of the most impassioned speeches I have ever heard was from a Lieutenant Colonel who was redeploying from Iraq to his home station. I sat in awe as he explained that the US military is the only military in the world that swears an oath not to a person or country but an idea articulated in the document that is the US Constitution. They pledge their very lives to the defense of that idea.
No, I think he was careful. Read his statement about the dangers of following illegal orders. The U.S. Constitution was written so that everyone could understand it. This is our protection against tyranny.

A Narobi newspaper in 2006 said Obama was Kenyan born as have many other African newspaper articles over the years, and Obama hides his birth certificate spending millions of dollars in the process. The obvious conclusion is that Obama is foreign born.

Never said that, but I am tired of people calling those of us who want to see proof labeled as birthers. I had to show my long form birth certificate to join the Navy, why can’t my CINC show his to prove presidential eligiblity?
From my hours and hours of reading on FR, I am pretty much convinced he was born in Kenya.
If he was born in HI, why wouldn’t he reveal his birth certificate?
Even his own lawyers admitted there was something “embarrassing” (and IIRC they used another word or phrase as well) and that’s why he refused to show it.

So many articles from the past said “Kenyan born” - why didn’t he correct them then? And where did the newspapers get the info that he was Kenyan born? Hmmm?
Honestly I thought Birthers liked being called birthers. But if the term offends you I sincerely apologize for it.
I applaud the courage of any senior officer that is taking this route of demanding the legal status of the POTUS.
And people like Beck that have no balls shouldn’t have an audience either, I’m certainly NOT his fan.
Perhaps its due time to have a Veterans March with an emphasis of challenging Obama’s legal right to give orders to our Armed Forces. After all Obama certainly feels like ordering them to NOT defend America.

I don’t think he’ll show it because no court capable of forcing him to show it has done so. I simply don’t believe one will either. It’s not that I believe he was born in Hawaii. Honestly I think he was born in Kenya.
I really believe only SCOTUS could force this and I don’t believe they will touch the issue. It’s just my opinion. Frankly I would love to be wrong.

If I had a chance to ask 0bammy a question at a town hall meeting I wuld ask, “How come John McCain showed his original birth certificate when asked to but you refuse to? Don’t give us a modern laser copy certificate of live birth. The American people deserve to see a copy of your 1961 original” “Do you consider yourself above the law and better than John McCain?”
