Sarah Palin: "I support Michael Steele ... I think he's doing a great job. Michael Steele is an outsider. The machine, I think, is tough to penetrate -- I think it's been good to have an independent outsider trying to create some change in the Republican Party."

I’m sure Sarah Palin has no desire to start a public food fight with the RNC. She’s doing what she does best, articulating the conservative message, and the numbers of folks who come out to see her speak to the power she has to transform the GOP.
See post 19!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
“Reagan was not one to attack fellow Republicans”
um he did go after Ford vigorously in the 76 primary which got pretty heated. he was EXTREMELY critical of Ford.
No just wondering about her motivation for such statements.
That’s not a “hate” question.
Increasingly, Sarah Palin is looking like a nice lady from Alaska whose heart is the right place, but whose judgement is serioulsy compromised.
The Republican Party needs John McCain and Michael Steele like a Toad needs more warts.
geez you reall really like Post 19 with that many exclamation marks
Folks tend to forget that, don't they? He was never one to speak ill of others in his own Party. He might have argued against their IDEAS, but he always showed respect for them.
Sarah seems to act in a similar manner, but those who were so mad at George W. Bush for not fighting with the Dems all the time don't seem to like it.

Nice to see you keep an open mind.
What in the heck to people want from her? Idiocy? Reactionary tactics?
Not me.
I want the COMMON SENSE and CAREFUL, FAIR assessments that she makes. I like it. More than I can express here.
Are you now, or have you ever been, a Democrat?
(Because you are arguing like one, by name calling anyone who disagrees with some things Palin has said or done as a 'hater'.)
See post 19. I am so sorry I did not go to college so I am not good at some typing speeling things. I will go delete myself from Freerepublic.
She is being turned. Not the next Reagan, then.
Reagan was not one to attack fellow Republicans, so I disagree with that.
*****************************************************
He was one to leave his party when it was irredeemably corrupted.
It took a Carter to get a Reagan.
I think the Carter “miss me yet?” billboards are a
GREAT INDICTMENT
of 0bama.
Palin is a Republican. I’m not sure why that comes as a surprise to so many on FR.
Heh, yes, she did say that. So she's not dissing Michael Steele, but folks are on notice that he's not RNC Chair for life, either.
Clever gal.

There is a world of difference between not attacking and actively supporting.
Divide and conquer. Palin is helping the other sides cause.
Put a fork in this experiment.
I absolutely love her to death (figuratively). I am entirely enthusiastic about the potential for her to lead us. However, her recent foray into stumping for Juan and now, with making excuses for Steele, disappoints me. It hasnt gotten to the point of disillusionment, but one more strike might do it.

I understand. Notice the “GOP insider” attacks have gone away though.
ROTFL! I haven't seen any of those yet! They WOULD be a stinging indictment of "That One".
