A 12-year-old Yemeni bride died of internal bleeding following intercourse three days after she was married off to an older man, the United Nations Children's Fund said.

The girl was married to a man at least twice her age, said Sigrid Kaag, UNICEF regional director for the Middle East and North Africa.

She's better off dead - lots of the child “brides” have their bodies destroyed “down there” and spend the rest of their lives unable to stop peeing. It's so common there are “laws” dealing with how a “husband” ( think child rapist in any civilized culture) has to give her a minimum amount to financial support. Usually these women spend their lives on the street - begging for money - and stinking to high heaven. This child was lucky she died.
