President Obama is absolutely right about this.

And, of course, any thorough discussion of slavery should include an examination of the role played by the East African Muslim Slave traders. However much we should condemn the descendants of Confederate soldiers (97% of whom came from families who did not own slaves), we should even more condemn the descendants of the African slave traders. Failing to do so would constitute an "unacceptable omission".

This is not abotu slavery. This is about race. If slavery is really the issue then lets talk about all slavery.

President Barack Obama says Virginia’s governor made “an unacceptable omission” when he proclaimed it Confederate History Month without mentioning slavery.

The vast majority of soldiers who fought and died for the Confederacy owned no slaves. The Confederate Territory of Arizona had not a single slave within its borders, as was also true for large areas of Texas.

The Confederate States of America was the last constitutional republic in North America. Lincoln and his successors (especially those who designed and administered Reconstruction) laid the foundation for a post-republican United States, and for America’s participation in the New World Order.

Finally, obama is NOT an American, and does not share our history or culture. And as a taqiyya-practicing muslim, he supports the largest slave system in the world today, which is a threat to freedom everywhere. And he is enacting such things as a domestic military force (which is part of the DeathCare law recently enacted), designed to rob us of our freedom directly. So obama should at least have the minimal decency to shut up about slavery.

The President failed to add that he is descended from Arab slave traders.

In totalitarians regimes , the "history" that's allowed supports the thugs in power. Dissension - different points of view - freedom of expression - that stuff was "America Yesterday".

Get with the program before they start taking names.

Dear Mr. 0bamster , Did you know ,,,,,,,, over 80% of the confederates who fought in the C/W came from homes which had NO SLAVES and had no interest in the SLAVERY ISSUE ? Also the Emancipation Proclamation only freed the slaves in states that were in rebellion against the the US ? It did not address any slaves held by the north . Lincoln's resolve of slavery , had he lived , was to take money from the Fed. Treasury and buy back all the slaves north and south and recolonize them in South America . But of course you wouldn't know these things because you have no interest in the broader picture and probably received a very liberal education . Oh ,,, and by the way ,,, slavery was wrong anywhere , and it still exists today in the bamster’s own country of Africa . Why don't you condemn that ?
