Unrestrained by the white straitjacket many of his constituents want imposed on him, the strident Rep. Alan Grayson (D-Fla.) invaded a meeting of local Republicans at a Perkins restaurant in his congressional district.
The freshman congressman berated the GOPers for daring to send "spies" to observe a meeting of Organizing for America, a controversial pressure group run by the Democratic National Committee.
Grayson can be seen in videos confronting Republicans. In one video he is asked if he feels he owes his constituents "an explanation for [his] recent votes?" He replies, "I don't owe them anything; they're trying to defeat me."
I asked Grayson's congressional office for a comment. Grayson attacked his constituents, denying he'd done anything wrong by allegedly storming into the meeting.
"That is completely not true and they are hypocrites for suggesting that," said Grayson. "These are the same people who did whatever they could to disrupt my health care town hall meetings, and shouted outside the meeting."
Grayson then hurled accusations at Republicans.
"I think it is very revealing. The Republican Party seems to be returning to its Nixonian roots. Corruption, lying, and spying. I thought they moved beyond that after Watergate, but I was wrong."

Does anyone know Grayson’s background? I’ll bet his past is very rocky. Some people in the Orlando area oughta be able to dig up a lot on this miscreant.
Are ALL these critters on meds? Seriously, is there an excess of psychotropic meds in the water supply? What is wrong with these people? These critters and their insanity are making policy decisions, and laws that effect us all. Maybe we need to require daily drug testing. I cannot believe the likes of this deranged man actually got elected!!

I’ve also seen him with that goofy grin of his using the same old tired “tax cuts for the rich”
Grayson is beyond immaturity. The OP is right, he’s undone. They should be coming to take him away . . . ha ha ho ho hee hee
IIRC, he's Harvard law (that meets your prediction of a very rocky background). He claims to have made major millions in business prior to gracing the halls of Congress (which may or may not be true, the goon has obviously lost most if not all of his marbles).

The only disturbance at your one and only Orlando Health Care Town Hall meeting was 1000 people outside yelling. “Let us in!”
You had arranged for a union hall that would seat only 126 people. You stacked the room with 95 local Dem officials, ACORN members and Organizing for America (Obama Youth) members.
I know, I was number 20 let into the room.
Outside were 1000 people, in a hot Florida August night. Some were WWII and Korea vets in wheel chairs, others were seniors, others were just people who wanted to hear the truth.
You shut them out. You talked for about 55 minutes, listened for about 5 and only answered questions your staff picked for you to answer.
Yoy brought your three children with you. After an hour, you left, claiming it was past their bedtime.
So, no Sir, it was not the same people... but in a way it was.... they're called voters... and they are your ticket to NOT go back to Washington.
