Nicolas Cage bid adieu to another mansion Wednesday -- after no one bid for it in a foreclosure auction. His Bel-Air, Calif., Tudor estate went on the block starting at $10.4 million, a measly sum given that the "National Treasure" star had asked for $35 million when he put it on the market, the Los Angeles Times said. But the complex attracted only a minute of silence on the steps of a courthouse in Pomona, Calif.. Not that anyone expected it would be gone in 60 seconds. One Realtor described its decor to the Times as "frat-house bordello." And back to the lender it goes.

It’s the spending, stupid.
Wonder how the Hollywood celebrities feel about their man in the White House now? Cage is not the only one having money woes.
The bidders must’ve seen Wicker Man.
Whoever buys that needs to redecorate it sounds like unless they plan to turn it into a Planned Parenthood Playteen Playhouse.
He’s already spent all the proceeds from finding the National Treasure?
Very few forclosures ever sell at auction, they go back to the lender who has to sell them at a loss.
“One Realtor described its decor to the Times as “frat-house bordello.”
Nice! Me like!
Taxed Enough Already there Nicky boy?
“Hes already spent all the proceeds from finding the National Treasure?”
Not talking about Obama, talking about Nicolas Cage.
I actually saw it 2 weeks ago here in L.A. A buddy of mine had some docs to drop off to his hotshot in Bel Air/Brentwood area and we actually drove past by it. He said “would u believe Nic Cage was selling this monstrosity?” It’s awesome to look from outside.
haha, I thought I was the only one out there that remembers that awful movie
“Tudor estate went on the block starting at $10.4 million”
You can buy a vote in congress for less than that.
Were they Bringing out the Dead?
You think Obummer would have stayed the forclosure for Nick. Poor nick must have not give the Max donation for the Messiah.
I know the house he bought. Asking 35 million for it is patently insane. That house in a strong market might fetch 15-16 million. It could cost up to one million just to fix the interior
Hollyweird is alive and well.
House comes with bee keeping equipment. :P “AHHH! NOT THE BEES!”
I checked on his politics. No surprise here, he’s only donated to RATS. He also spent like a RAT, with no concern for staying within his means.
Who else? Please do tell.
