Nicolas Cage bid adieu to another mansion Wednesday -- after no one bid for it in a foreclosure auction. His Bel-Air, Calif., Tudor estate went on the block starting at $10.4 million, a measly sum given that the "National Treasure" star had asked for $35 million when he put it on the market, the Los Angeles Times said. But the complex attracted only a minute of silence on the steps of a courthouse in Pomona, Calif.. Not that anyone expected it would be gone in 60 seconds. One Realtor described its decor to the Times as "frat-house bordello." And back to the lender it goes.

Someone in my immediate family applied to be their Nanny a while back. Strange Dude: drinks alot and very demanding.
He’s always been a terrible actor, second only to Keanu Reeves for his awfulness.
Lots of fame and fortune don’t always buy good taste or good business sense.
Just goes to show that money is something for a rainy day. Our elders knew well.
Well, there is Angie MacDowell....
I couldn’t agree with you more with that assessment.
This is the second house he’s lost to foreclosure this year. The other was in New Orleans.
The LaLaurie house google it. Supposedly THE most haunted house. It does have one helluva history behind it.
Weird.
Just asking, since I don’t wast very much money going to movies these days - why is Nicolas Cage in such economic trouble?
As an aside the bathroom colors in the photo shot seem designed to induce a throw-up response if over indulged! Just a lame observation.
UGH, her.
I think you meant Andie MacDowell, but anyway. I just re-watched St Elmo’s Fire (circa 1984) a couple of weeks back and couldn’t believe her terrible acting. Strikingly bad~! lol but, she is beautiful. He, on the other hand, is not.
as my friend from college used to say: “Crazy as a shit-house rat”
In the current market the bank will be lucky to get $10mil.
Even Rancho Santa FE, La Jolla, Fairbanks Ranch, in San Diego County are at least down 30%.
I meant Nic Cage not you!
Those same Hollywood peeps who choose to lecture us, via movie lines, on how to live our lives.
"frat-house bordello"?
For some reason, I can visualize this.
Thanks anyway
.
“In the current market the bank will be lucky to get $10mil.”
No doubt. Wealthy people are scared of Obama too. 10 to 1 it will sell to someone from Asia, or the UAE.
Hey, Maybe Cage can cash in on this catastrophe!
New movie
“Leaving Bel Air”
I see the Elvis idoltry.
The exterior reminds me of my ivy covered high school.
