Usually when they insult you and tell you how stupid you are after repeatedly owning them with facts and history— this is the point when you really have been clued in on their embarrassment.

You need to explain that yours is a Republican/conservative home and that all luxuries contained within were bought as a result of pursuing free enterprise. If they don’t agree with your means, you don’t feel right about putting them in the position of compromising their principles. Thus, for the sake of everyone’s integrity, it’s time to leave.

We are in a mild depression. Obama is making it severe.
Obama stated he wants $6/gallon gasoline. During the gas speculation and resulting high prices, he said he wanted $6/gallon gas, but not all at once like was happening. He wanted it gradually, which I assume he intends to do over his 8 year reign. Being a one term wonder, he will have to try during one 4 year term.
Why six months? I’m wondering what you’re seeing in that time frame that I’m not. Of course if/when Israel attack Iran, that would do it, but what else?
But barring that, I can see oil fluctuating 10% plus or minus where it is now in the next 6 months.
Indeed, Obeyme could slap a tax on oil consumption, but...
