Reverend Manning is either a stooge of the commie left or completely out of his mind. One of the things he is alleging is that Obama was hired by the Reagan administration as a CIA operative to spy on the Soviets! Nothing could be more ridiculous than that. So, while he raises many legitimate issues about Obama, he totally discredits himself and the anti-Obama movement with insanity such as this, at least in the minds of the many who don’t know much about who and what Obama is. It’ll be like telling people Obama is a communist followed by he is also from the planet Mars.

Did that executive order forbid anyone to look at the executive order itself?

As I understand it, that particular executive order has to do with Presidential records - that is, records that are created while he is in office. It gives directives to the National Archives, etc. As far as I know, the executive order does not direct the state of Hawaii to do anything with regard to his vital records. They are covered by Hawaii state law and Hawaii’s UIPA (Hawaii’s version of FOIA).

Perhaps one of our FReeper legal eagles can comment on this.

How can he get away with sealing the rcords of non-government (i.e., private) institutions? Simply by doing it, or so it seems, if this is true. Just as he saddled we taxpayers with the tab for the unsustainably over-the-top generous retirement benefits and life-long medical care for UAW members.

Executive orders apply ONLY to the executive branch. They are not binding to ANYONE else. Only Congress can make laws. Period.

Now if only those "leaders" who feel bound to abide by these would learn this simple fact about our Nations's government.

Just a couple things. Where is the EO that seals his school records? It is not listed with all the other EO’s on the White House website.

When would BO have learned Farsi? The Koran is written in Arabic and they don’t speak Farsi in Indonesia.

Why would the CIA need Farsi speakers in Pakistan or Afghanistan? The main language of Pakistan is Urdu. In Afghanistan it is Pashto and Dari.

If Manning’s research hasn’t answered these basic questions what makes you think the rest of his theories are any more cogent.
