President Barack Obama quietly breached years of protocol on Saturday morning by leaving the White House without the press with him.
About two hours before reporters were supposed to be in position to leave with the president, Obama left the grounds of the White House. Members of the press were told he was attending one of his daughter's soccer games in northwest Washington, D.C.
The White House press corps traditionally travels with the president anywhere he goes, inside and outside the country, to report on the president's activities for the benefit of informing the public and for historical record.

When I first heard this speculated, I thought people were just trying to be funny, but now...? He just looks like he’s coming unglued. Narcissism and drugs are a very self-destructive combo.
Adding to his meltdown is Palin is using his Saul Alinsky tactics against him! She’s causing little cracks (no pun intended) to form on this man’s psyche!

He was gone for less than an hour to a “soccer game”. He slipped away dressed in a suit without his wife or the press. They gave the address of the game as 40th and Chesapeake NW, whatever that is.
Imagine GWB slipping out without Laura or the press to see a soccer game, and returns in under an hour. Would the press ignore that?
Bingo. And now that I think about it, that might explain the (seems like) DAILY announcements of reformed-this, reformed-that, top-priority this, etc.... IOW, if there isn’t a crisis or something brewing to keep him occupied and in the lime-light, he creates one.
