Richard Dawkins: I Will Arrest Pope Benedict XVI

April 11, 2010 Richard Dawkins: I Will Arrest Pope Benedict XVI Marc Horne

Atheist campaigner Richard Dawkins RICHARD DAWKINS, the atheist campaigner, is planning a legal ambush to have the Pope arrested during his state visit to Britain “for crimes against humanity”.

Dawkins and Christopher Hitchens, the atheist author, have asked human rights lawyers to produce a case for charging Pope Benedict XVI over his alleged cover-up of sexual abuse in the Catholic church.

The pair believe they can exploit the same legal principle used to arrest Augusto Pinochet, the late Chilean dictator, when he visited Britain in 1998.

The Pope was embroiled in new controversy this weekend over a letter he signed arguing that the “good of the universal church” should be considered against the defrocking of an American priest who committed sex offences against two boys. It was dated 1985, when he was in charge of the Congregation for the Doctrine of the Faith, which deals with sex abuse cases.

As they say, the flak is worst when you are right over the target. The Church is taking hits because Benedict has tightened and corrected. The Church is waking up about speaking against abortion- and those who support the idea of “choice.” The Church is swinging back toward orthodoxy and the devil is not pleased.

sorry this is my grammar edit which I forgot to post

There are wolves among the sheep in the Vatican and just as we see what is leading our country it seems the struggle is going on in the church for one of those wolves want to grasp the Vatican throne.

Just observe to the events unfolding and don’t be surprised if it did happen.

One Pope mysteriously died with days of the anointing another was short and now this scorched earth approach towards Pope Benedict XVI

I have defended what I’ve said hereon tons and tons.

I have absolutely no need to take anything back.

All that is in my posting record hereon.

I’ve also given you a link with a lot of globalist quotes including a Pope from not that long ago.

Perhaps there’s an understanding problem . . .

1. There is an encyclical . . . I even posted a whole thread on one encyclical and gave my commentary on it paragraph by paragraph.

2. I !THINK! it was that encyclical that included a horrific paragraph about how the Pope thought globalist economics and control were essential.

3. It may have been a later encylical that had that paragraph. Dr. Eckleburg would likely recall better than I.

4. The quotes ref’d in my tagline have

ABSOLUTELY NOTHING TO DO WITH THEORY.

5. Those folks have long had the money and the power and positions and status to make what they planned happen. If you have not noticed the rise of globalism and it’s combined bastardized versions of Communism and monopolistic capitalism—perhaps you’ve been blinded by the brilliance fo your own uninformed assumptions.

6. If you think OThuga is not carrying such globalist goals forward with as big a leaps as he can get away with . . . then I think we are on different planets or more likely, in different galactic clusters . . . and I’m curious what you find worth the bother on a Conservative website.

Here’s the encyclical with the paragraph insisting that elements of tyrannical globalism are essential for our future:

Thanks.

I’ve long had a love for many Roman Catholics et al.

I have no great affection for a lot of the institution.

I have some fondness for the history and the sociological aspects of the institution in a clinical sort of way.

It’s a mute point. It certainly supports James’ argument but then his argument is a dead-end argument he keeps falling back on. Well, it’s a dead-end unless you are an atheist who believes that all things in the world will continue just as they have since the beginning of human history. Christians, as a rule do not. Atheists do.

You are correct.

It is sad the that the messenger is attacked.

But then one can then ignore the message.

It was quite interesting. Did you make it?

It accurately shows the displacements of religion in what was then the Byzantine, or the Holy Roman Empire.

One error is that it does not show Sikhism on that map. Remember that this offshoot of Hinduism was vital in displacing Islam from north-western India.

A number of us are keenly aware of the

Pope’s talking quite extensively out of both sides of his fingers in that encyclical.

The incrimminating paragraph is still starkly plain on the critical tyrannical aspects of globalism that he is saying are important to implement.

Rain on him. Globalism is evil in all its aspects and forms and degrees.

He should know that. He should not appear IN THE LEAST to support any part of it—ambguiously or unambiguously—and that paragraph is unambiguous regardless of the rest of the encylical that sort of sounds like back-peddling or clap trap or trying to balance the evil of that paragraph or some mystifying some such.

Single celled organism, I think you mean. The Catholic church has all these scandals, who knows how many more child molesters there are occupying positions of authority in the Catholic church.

EVERY FREEPER ought to know such facts . . . if they really want to know what OThuga is about.
