Civil war is when citizens oppose fellow citizens. When citizens oppose the government, we call that revolution.

Cokie doesn't need to fear a civil war. But if the Democrats keep up this nonsense, rigging the game to impose their liberal wish list, Cokie can start fearing revolution. Soon. ------------ KC Mulville (Newsbuster comment)

“Civil war is when citizens oppose fellow citizens. When citizens oppose the government, we call that revolution.”

Yes, but in a revolution citizens also oppose other citizens (i.e., supporters of the government).

Civil wars are most often fought by various factions over control of the government, and the government is just one of those factions. Sometimes a few of the factions will temporarily ally themselves for a specific purpose or operation, but they do not really “support” each other.

Revolutions are usually pretty well defined and focused. Civil wars are most often chaotic cluster f***s.

"Civil war is when citizens oppose fellow citizens. When citizens oppose the government, we call that revolution. "

Both of these conditions are met. We oppose the government that has been created by a population of people who have thrown away their freedom and willingly placed themselves in shackles. One does not exist without the other.

Our fight is against this marxist government, for sure. But it is also against the fools who voted for this bull sh--. Unless and until we do something about them we will have no peace from tyranny because they will keep sending marxists to "represent" them.

This is no “Civil War”.
The “Civil War” wasn’t even a “Civil War”.

This, the War of 1861, and the War of 1776 are and were all independence movements.

We don’t want to be under your collectivist thumb.
Get it?

Actually, it will be a civil war / revolution combination. The government has substantial civilian support. But the attempt to overturn obamacare is not the first step; it is a reaction to the previous step.

Obama's announcements and actions at taking from the producers and giving to the non-producers, with the high government administrative costs was the first significant step.

I was once told that the original American revolution had only about 25% of public support.

But it seems the conservatives are the ones with personal firearms. If it comes to that, those alone will not be a match against the government's military. The issue is on which side that military will be.
