It never occurred to her that it wasnt the best movie? You are using too much common sense here.
Much better to blame it all on lack of breasts. Chortle!

Just saw AVATAR last week: An over-produced cartoon with a screenplay written by a fourteen-year-old.

From the link:
Weaver made her comments as she and Cameron promoted "Avatar" in Brazil and protested against the proposed Belo Monte dam in the Amazon -- the world's third-largest hydroelectric project -- which they claim will destroy the jungle and displace indigenous tribes. Cameron also wrote a letter to Brazilian President Lula da Silva, who's insisting the project will go forward and has refused to meet with him.
God forbid some Brazilians get electricity.

I’ll also go with the fact that Hurt Locker was a really good movie with well-developed characters. Very contra-factual, but still it left me intrigued and thinking.
The remarkable thing about Avatar is that everyone who likes it seems to spend an inordinate amount of time trying to tell you that it’s not like some other movie.

Best picture of the year is the one that makes the most money!
The moviegoers cast their vote for best picture with their dollars.
Screw the academy.

Shes too busy fighting against the ocean being turned to acid by global warming. To be fair, she's worried that it'll eat through the hull.

No amount of CGI, special effects and dazzle can ever make up for the lack of a good script and good acting. A film with good writing and acting will always trump dazzle without substance.

Sigourney is also somewhat lacking when it comes to breasts. She is not bad looking though IMHO but haven’t seen her recently. I am probably still imaging her from the Alien era.
