This is common in many parts of the country. Peoples guns are confiscated, then they are not given back unless the people hire a lawyer and get a court order. As the legal process costs more than the guns are worth, it becomes a form of legal theft.

The scenario gets complicated because one of Guidos employees, unbeknownst to her at the time, is a convicted felon and she had loaned him a .25 semi-auto to wear. She should have vetted her employees a little better before loaning one of them a firearm.

Add cars, ATVs, boats, money, and anything else the rats can get their paws on to your list.

I don’t suggest they try it here in VA to a VCDL member. Phone calls would bring other members quickly.

Is there anybody in “law enforcement” internally aware of when they will no longer be tools of tyranny?

Where in the 2nd ammendment does it state that felons may not own firearms?

Somewhere there are US Marshals that have her guns in their homes.
The ones who did this are no better than thieves.

Where in the 2nd ammendment does it state that felons may not own firearms? That is irrelevant to her situation.

Good question - lets take a look at it:
A well regulated militia being necessary to the security of a free State, the right of the People to keep and bear arms shall not be infringed.
Hmmm... I dunno. All that legalese in that sentence... hard to wrap my mind around it. So complicated and so hard to read with big words and all... Better hire a lawyer to read it for us... [/extra-ordinary sarcasm off]

The Federal confiscation of weapons from law abiding citizens should NEVER have happened in NOLA.

Where in the 2nd ammendment does it state that felons may not own firearms? It doesn't. But common sense dictates that you know damn well who you are loaning a loaded firearm to.

common sense dictates that you know damn well who you are loaning a loaded firearm to again, ASSuming she has entrusted this employee with her business, and has 'known' him for months or years, id venture to say she knew him and he was more trustworthy and deserving of protecting himself and covering her six than these helpful public servants were, as they helped themselves to her guns...

This is why you never surrender your arms. Attempting to forcibly disarm me and mine would probably be a bad mistake.
The Feds would do well to think real hard about how they conduct themselves in todays world. I know many people that are at the end of their rope with the JBT mentality that has pervaded our law enforcement. I’d prefer to avoid a violent conflict in our nation and I’m sure that our LEO friends and neighbors would like the same... so let’s all back the heck off of the edge and just leave people alone before things boil over.

Since she didn't know he was a convicted felon, I'd say she didn't know him well enough to put a loaded firearm in his hand. Just my view....
