A new CNN/Opinion Research poll tests some 2012 general election matchups for the first time, and finds that President Obama leads four potential foes: Mitt Romney, Sarah Palin, Newt Gingrich and Mike Huckabee.

I read something last week about straw polls. The candidates pay for the delegates to vote in them....it’s a fixed race for the straw poll, they mean nothing. Romney s not it...he’s got too much of his own healthcare baggage. And f the MSM is gearing up now with this BS, they are truly worried.

They structured the question to make the Republican ticket look like a TV rerun you’ve seen for the 1000th. time. Would not put much stock into it.

Sure the poll is meaningless, but I don’t love any of the named GOP challengers AS CANDIDATES. So that I am clear, I would vote for any of them, if nominated, over BHO. I voted McQueeg too. I even like Palin and Gingrich. But they carry high negatives with a sizable portion of the electorate, and we can’t afford another six-plus years of gangster leadership.
i dont know Huck is as damaged if not more so than Romney due to the pardon fiasco. whether he deserves blame or not he will get HAMMERED in ads for letting that guy out who killed those cops.
i would prefer someone new than this field of choices
