Possible 2012 GOP Contender Also Slams Adoptions By Gays

Mike Huckabee, a possible Republican presidential candidate in 2012, says the effort to allow gays and lesbians to marry is comparable to legalizing incest, polygamy and drug use.

Huckabee also told college journalists last week that gay couples should not be permitted to adopt. "Children are not puppies," he said.

Huckabee visited The College of New Jersey in Ewing, N.J., last Wednesday to speak to the Student Government Association. He also was interviewed by a campus news magazine, The Perspective, which published an article on Friday.

Good going, Huck.

May no one who purports to be for the principles of America knuckle under to those who wish to elevate a sexual disorientation to God’s holy order and a culture’s essential social contract, which is husband-wife marriage.

And there are plenty of Cato- and Heritage- style pot smokers who are warped and will never get the support of principled Americans.

He still beat Romney both in his tas and spend policies and in the primary. Afterall, it's not like Huckabee passed Romneycare.

Maybe you should spend time with libertarians and not conservatives.

Yes.

Governor Huckabee was more conservative than Governor Reagan.

People are worried about losing their jobs, reckless gov't spending, and Obamacare. I don't think they care what fudgepackers are doing to one another.

Huckabee has his priorities screwed up. I agree with him though

Maybe Huckabee should spend more time in Florida, with his wife who just declared she has given up her Arkansas Roots for tax free Florida residency.

"Yes. Governor Huckabee was more conservative than Governor Reagan."

Was he really? I know he was more conservative than Romney but Reagan?

"The silence is deafening...:)"

He might have been more conservative than Governor Reagan. I'm not sure if he meant to type Reagan or not.

I wouldn't bet on someone being more conservative in the white house than they were as governor. That's why Huckabee is light years better than Romney. But Sarah Palin is light years better than both.
