If Obama has thrown any one country under the bus with his appeasement foreign policy it would be Poland. From his cave in on missile defense to his revamped nuclear doctrine he is sending the bad actors of the world a clear message that certain things are not worth fighting for. As one with many relatives who reside in Poland I can assure you that our president has very little respect within their borders. If I honestly thought he had the interests of the Polish people in mind I could approve of his attendance. To honor the dead while trashing the living is not my idea of a sound leader or a credible policy.

I know Obama has been terrible to Poland. Now it’s a damned-if-you-do/damned-if-you-don’t thing. I think if he didn’t go, it would look like another huge, intentional, snub of our ally and it would be a worse insult than if he did go and pay his respects in person, like the other heads of state who will be there.
