Welcoming Palin to Boston(Misleading Globe Op-Ed)
Boston Globe ^ | April 14, 2010 | Globe Editorial

Posted on 04/14/2010 4:01:14 AM PDT by GQuagmire

THE BOSTON Common has seen its share of major political movements, from independence to abolition to opposition to the Vietnam War, so today’s Sarah Palin “Tea Party Express’’ rally should be put in perspective. It’s not as inconsequential as when cows grazed on the Common, but it’s no upheaval, either. Such rallies are part of the normal lifeblood of politics.

Title caught my eye online. Then I read the article. Usual B.S. Globe slant.

“Upheaval” is OBAMACARE and Cass Sustein and Valerie Jarrett and Bill Ayres and Van Jones and the slow suspension of our Constitutional rights as we are forced into permanent tax serfdom.

ProROMNEYCARE (=Obamacare) RINOS will not be
attending, including Charlie Baker and Senator Scott Brown.

They are too busy plotting for RomneyCARE’s Romney.

I suppose that the article as about as tempered as we can expect from a liberal rag.

Is there going to be a live stream of today’s rally? I hope so!

Captain OBVIOUS to the rescue.

Here. This will make things more simple.

See this photo?

It's a dog.

It BARKS.

See this picture?

It's a baby.

It CRIES.

See this picture?

It's a class in the J-School at Columbia University filled with future reporters and commentators. See a conservative among them?

They LIE.

...and John Holdren and Eric Holder and Rahm Emmanuel and Ezekiel Emmanuel and Kevin Jennings and Carol Browner and Andy Stern and Anita Dunn...the list is absolutely breathtaking!!

If you told anyone two years ago that in 2010 our POTUS would be surrounded by this list communists you would have been laughed at or taken as a complete idiot.

Goofy article. First they slap her down and then welcome her. Goofy. Whole thing had a move along, nothing to see feel toward Palin and Tea Parties.

You’ve no idea. I still get the paper copy delivered to my house every day, i guess so I can keep up with the Pats, Bruins and Red Sox. They could take a sunny day and turn it into a sob story for the sun deprived. They support taxes on soda because of “associated” health care costs. Their ‘business’ pages are about equal employment opportunity. These people are so numb they think taxes are economic development. Brutal.

On the radio this morning, they did little Man-In-The-Street interviews to show that no one knows about the Tea Party, No one cares about the Tea Party, the Tea Party is marginalized, stupid, and pointless.

So, they found a number of obviously stupid, and in some cases (I think) drunk people to voice their opinion. Typical response:

"Huh? What? Tea Party? Uhhhhh, I go to Starbucks ... and ... wait ... is this politics? Oh, I dunno."

This was broadcast to show the people of MA that the Tea Party people are stupid.

anti-liberal sentiments so ingrained that they emerged within weeks of President Obama’s inauguration, before any taxes went up or individual mandates were applied
Yeah!!! What were those people thinking???

They thought Obommie was a Commie even before his first official Commie Regulation!

Who did they think they were!!!

More and more I am concerned with Sarah’s safety. Appearing with the Tea Party Express is great, but the security is nonexistent. The left is becoming unhinged (or more so then usual) and I worry what they will do to her.

Let the moonbats think and believe whatever the hell they want.

The TEA Parties ARE the start of the next American Revolution, and they ARE the beginning of normal people taking back THEIR country! The liberals are besides themselves with anguish. Poor babies. The train is coming down the track, but they can’t....or won’t.....hear the whistle.

The reader comments are very revealing of the slant of the typical Boston Globe supporter. Wow! Snarky, condescending, and ignorant in their arrogance.

I believe she has a security team. So does Rush Limbaugh, Glenn Beck, and others. Sarah’s made $12 million since last July, so she can afford one. Then again, she knows how to handle a firearm, so anyone who messes with her would be in big trouble. I wonder if she conceal / carries in states that are reciprocal with Alaska? (I doubt if liberal Mass. is one of them).
