Border: In a new bead in a string of attacks on the U.S. , our consulate in Nuevo Laredo was bombed last week. But in Washington, the thinking about Mexico is not of war, but of PR

We the people are taking action - my family and several of my friends own homes in Cabo and everyone one of us canceled our summer vacations there this year.
Obama will ignore the border situation in order to please La Raza and their supporters within the Obama administration.
U.S. Cattlemens Association Calls For Enhanced Border Security Measures
...This crisis is not confined to Arizona. It is a national crisis along our southern border that requires development of national policy authorizing the equipment, communications, training, experience and manpower to insure the safety of our citizens in this area.
.. Before we address immigration reform we must address the escalating violence along our southern border and the armed aggression against American citizens by foreign nationals. Ranchers should not go out to do their chores and literally fear for their lives."
The weak response by the US is going to cause the drug lords to get even bolder. They have been avoiding tourists and US citizens, but now they have found out there is no penality and they will start threatening more people.
In the meantime..we have hundreds of agents not on the border and no job place enforcement.
We all need to write to our congress critter today and protest the lack of border security.
Dems are sucking up bigtime.....hoping they can suckup illegal votes that will hopefully climax in Nov wins.
They even suckered in Michele to do the dirty work.
I just hope the First Lady brought enough kneepads as she prepared to perform multiple Mexican BJs, ole. (/snix)
Fear now a way of life in border towns
At schools in Fort Hancock and nearby Texas towns, new security measures and counseling for young children of murdered parents have become a troubling part of the day.
"There's been incidents of school buses followed, and threats to some of the students and threats to some of the staff," said Hudspeth County Sheriff's Lt. Robert Wilson. "It's caused us to really go on high alert."
As FReeper Tammy8 insightfully posted: "Reid and company had a rally for amnesty on the very same day as the services for Rob Krentz. Has Obama made a statement about the Krentz murder? Has he made a statement about the cartel war causing issues in Ft Hancock, TX.? Has Obama made a statement about the various home invasions both on and away from the border by illegals? "

Sickening. The Ohahas could care less. Sucking up to non-citizens is more important than American lives. Illegals are another voting bloc they grab onto to save their sorry elected behinds.
I agree w/ Tancredo: DHS' Napolitano should resign in the wake of Rob Krentz' murder.
Americans are angry..........angry that they are forced to subsidize freeloading lawbreakers from other countries so politicians can get new voters, angry at the deterioration of our culture. Angry at our Nations deteriorating position in the world, at our debts and deficits, our spending and taxing, and their threatened security by drug cartels.

REFERENCE Over and above the millions who violate our borders, 1.5 million legal foreign workers come to the US each year, as a matter of course.
But this number isnt high enough for Dem Cong Gutierrez and his 92 co-sponsors. Their Comprehensive Immigration Reform bill includes a provision called recapture that will add up all the supposedly unused work visas since 1992 and issue them immediately.
This is a complete fraud, as all unused work visas are rolled over to the family reunification category the next year as it is.
Gutierrez' Comprehensive Immigration Reform bill will create 100,000 visas from countries that send the most illegal immigrants every year. According to the State Department, this will mean 550,000 new foreign workers.
AND GET THIS Mexico is the staging area for Third World and other illegals preparing to violate our borders. The Comprehensive Immigration Reform bill rewards Mexico b/c they calculatedly promote illegal immigration.
Gutierrez' bill will make it much easier for more illegal aliens to break in. Under the Bill, to prove they have jobs and were in the country BEFORE Congress passed amnesty, illegals are allowed to use stolen ID's, fake green cards, and fraudulent SS numbers....... without fear of prosecution.
Mexico facilitates the profitable staging area for global illegals to cross the border. Contrary to Obamas claim that CIR bill will increase border security, it does just the opposite.........
<> it guts successful enforcement measures,
<> limits raids on illegal immigrants,
<> prohibits use of troops on the border,
<> replaces E-Verify used to ensure employers hire legal American workers,
<> overturns all state and local US laws that crackdown on illegal immigration,
<> abolishes 287(g) that allows local L/E and federal authorities to apprehend criminal illegals.
Gutierrez makes Van Jones look like a patriot.
Last month, two Americans and a Mexican national affiliated with the U.S. Consulate in Juarez were gunned down in cold blood in an attack believed to be connected to the consular employee's husband's work in a Texas prison guarding these same traffickers.
Shortly afterward, more hit men slipped across the border to murder an Arizona rancher and his dog on his property. Now lawmen are being threatened in the U.S., and American citizens, like an El Monte, Calif., school official last December, are being caught in the crossfire of a war that has killed 200,000 in Mexico.
Glenn Beck has been covering this. He has concerns there will be a mass exodus from Mexico to US to escape.
According to a new "Securing Our Borders" report by the Obama-linked think tank Center for American Progress (CAP), border security will be best achieved with "comprehensive immigration reform," also known as amnesty, ...
As I recall, said "Center for American Progress" is Van Jones new employer.
--Soros Contributed $3 Million To John Podestas Think Tank, The Center For American Progress.
Soros is also connected to La Raza -= uses his money to advocate, open borders, mass immigration, and a watering down of current immigration laws
That is the first time I have seen the 200K number. Seems to be exaggerated by 10x to me.
IBD Opinion Piece Ping!

Current estimate is 22k over the last 3 years. So your guess is correct.
REFERENCE The Mexican govt is coaching its citizens to pour into the US, whining about "drug cartelpersecution." Some of these whiners are wealthy phonies, squatting on US soil, intent on draining the US treasury to finance reconquista.
The corrupt Mexican government is itself creating new classes of Mexican refugees whining to get "Political Asylum".....supposedly to protect them from Drug Wars (and also from "Abusive Spouses").
THE SCAM UNMASKED Social Security has a "persecution" classification (originated for Eastern Bloc refugees claiming religious or political persecution. AND GET THIS: Connivers from circa WW II eastern Europe and other Soviet satellite countries are STILL collecting.
THE RIPOFF UP CLOSE A Social Security provides outrageous government financial aid to "refugees" claiming "persecution." These phonies never paid a dime into the SS system; yet, they can collect seven years straight...... and can get extended payments if they are politically well-connected. The SS checks can amount to $1000 a month, and more.
REFERENCE In fiscal year 2008, the US government received 47,459 asylum claims and granted 10,743 - a decrease over the previous year's 54,957 applications and 12,807 approvals. Immigration attorneys insist that asylum applications won't spike if the administration expands protection to battered women.
MORE WAYS THAN ONE TO DRAIN THE US TREASURY Illegals are also crying "domestic violence" in order to collect.
"How are asylum authorities going to substantiate these claims when we know that domestic violence is a complicated thing," said Ira Mehlman, a spokesman for the advocacy group Federation for American Immigration Reform. "This is getting the US into personal relationships, and that's not where asylum law ought to go."
Mehlman said his organization opposed expanding the asylum law (which was created in 1980 largely as a means for Communist Bloc citizens to defect while visiting the US in a diplomatic role.) Backers of the law at the time estimated that claims would average around 5,000 a year and drop off significantly after the Cold War ended...........but that never happened.
thanks for the post
