A professional organization for pediatricians has dispatched letters to thousands of school superintendents across the United States with a warning that promoting – or "affirming" – the homosexual lifestyle to young children can damage them.
The letter was sent just days ago by the American College of Pediatricians, a nonprofit organization funded by members and donors, to school superintendents that tells them plainly, "It is not the school's role to diagnose and attempt to treat any student's medical condition, and certainly not a school's role to 'affirm' a student's perceived personal sexual orientation."
Further, schools can create a "life of unnecessary pain and suffering" for a child when they reinforce a behavior chosen out of a child's "confusion."
"Even when motivated by noble intentions, schools can ironically play a detrimental role if they reinforce this disorder," said the letter, signed by Dr. Tom Benton, the organization's president.

It’s about time for people to speak up against what is being pushed on children.
It is normal for boys and girls to prefer friendships with their own sex during certain stages of their development. It is as normal as the stages of crawling, walking, talking, learning to say ‘no’, learning to cooperate, etc....
Forcing young children to think about their “sexual orientation” is emotional abuse.
He's gonna catch some grief for using that word. The truth can get you in trouble these days.
Very sadly, that is exactly the purpose of this indoctrination - to confuse the youngsters. A drugged or weakened, Godless, demoralized population is easier to control, doncha know? And it begins very young in the Federal school system. God bless the pediatricians. Would that more parents would take a serious interest in what is imposed on their children outside the home!

Ridiculous. First of all, no one has any business putting the onus of any sexual orientation identity on a young child. Second, they are what they are. Short of some type of sexual trauma, you can’t make someone gay or make someone straight. They’re going to be whatever they’re going to be. If, by adolescence, they identify as gay, then that’s that. You can’t un-gay them, no matter what Pat Robertson and all the alumni of Exodus try to claim. All you can do is damage them and make them feel bad about themselves.....and about you.
Well the church just acknowledged the connection between homosexuality and sexual abuse. So I have to give them credit. I’d give the church more credit if it would help provide funding to organizations like NARTH or funding science foundations outside liberal academia.
Must be anti-Catholic night or something.

You are wrong. Most gays report abuse, most have higher evidence of all sorts of disorders which are also common in abuse victims such as increased incidence of suicide, increased numbers of sexual partners, difficulty forming normal relationships, problems with drug abuse. Sex workers also have this in common as do many sex abusers many of which were abused themselves. There may be a small number who have none of the typical issues related to their disorder but they most likely have some other cause. Some prenatal drug use has been shown to twist natural human sexual tendencies. This isn’t a group of Pat Robertson types this group is made up of licensed pediatricians and PHD level scientists. They base their conclusions on years of settled science. Most of it may be ignored or ridiculed by liberals in the media and those liberals who dominate the behavioral sciences but it does not make it untrue.
It is inconvenient especially for those in our soft society where unicorns and rainbows pass for substance.
Send it to YOUR school Superintendent.
Make sure they GET IT.
