Friday night a week ago in New Orleans a petite female political operative and her boyfriend were attacked and seriously injured by a vicious group of crazed cowards who shrieked political insults while pouncing. After the pummeling, the petite female and her boyfriend were left, collectively, with a compound leg fracture, a concussion, a broken nose and broken jaw. No robbery occurred.
But wait!....Don't waste your time -- if you're Googling for this item on CNN, New York Times, Wa-Po, MSNBC, Huff-Po, ABC, Salon, CBS, etc., that is. What? But don't attacks (physical and/or verbal) of a political nature outrage the above media outfits to the point of hysteria? Didn't all the above media outfits wail an indignant chorus to the high-heavens regarding the "anguish" suffered by Rep. Emanuel Cleaver when dribbled with a few drops of (unconfirmed) Tea-Partier spittle, to say nothing of the fit-of -the-vapors suffered by Barney Frank upon hearing some schoolyard taunts by same?

The Old Media either want us serious injured to be intimidated to show up in public, or to be outright killed (they want a Socialist, one party dictatorship) so their lack of coverage of this comes as absolutely NO surprise to me.
When the revolution comes, the press must not be spared their punishment. Special attention should be directed at them.

As my brother would eagerly point out...this kind of thing occurs at least once a week in New Orleans, and it’s really not as safe as people think it is. At one point....as my brother was driving out of town without a GPS and got lost...a cop eventually pulled him over and suggested that he was in the bad part of town and then led him toward the interstate.
I think we ought to let this simmer a week...and we might find out that there’s a different angle to this story. Oh, and if you were looking for a safe place to party and drink...I’d stick to Vegas.
Pics and addresses of Mauch and Dubinsky would be nice, especially if disseminated to the ‘net at large.
Groups of white thugs not after money are not the normal M.O. in NOLA/Quarter crime.
I suggest you read up some more on earlier events that night. Go look at abb’s threads.
Do you have the links?
Here is a different angle to the story. Link from the article, video of the protesters, in depth coverage.

They say The Tea Party folks are scary and an angry mob! These pictures of the Anarchists protesting should go viral! This is a disgusting insurrection that is going on without Lame stream media to report.
I feel so awful for the young folks that were hurt.
Thanks for the link. The Hayride is obviously doing a great job of putting the pieces together.
Exposure of this will be forced on the media.
Has it been sent to Drudge? (really dumb question)

He linked a story early on, but I believe has been silent since.
I think a couple of weeks investigation might surface one of the perps.
names already out. Scott McKay has two names in recent article. SOme group “Iron Rail”... Maybe somebody closer to the area can sort of “lend a hand”. I wouldn’t count on “traditional justice”.
Even though the description of the perps match the anarchists that just so happened to be protesting in that very same spot? Come on this wasn’t the typical French Quarter mugging. KWIM?????
The MSM is ignoring the story because it might be “political”...
If an aid to the Gov of Pennsylvania was brutally attached in Philadelphia it would be front page news.
If an aid to the Gov of New Jersey was brutally attached in Newark it would be front page news.
If an aid to the Gov of Florida was brutally attached in Miami it would be front page news.
As a straight crime story this should be headline news.
