A group of 40 auditors -- including scientists and public policy experts from across the globe -- have released a shocking report card on the U.N.'s landmark climate-change research report. And they gave 21 of the report's 44 chapters a grade of "F."
I agre with both assertions; the U.N. has no class, and they are a miserable failure when it comes to climate research, and getting the facts straight.
I say, E=mc3. Just trust me okay. I went to skuul.

The ‘un’ should not merely get a grade of ‘F’, but have a dunce cap, sent to permanent detention, expelled... and banished.
The grades are a measurement of the quality of the cited sources. From the article:
In June 2008, Rajendra Pachauri, the IPCC's chairman, said: "People can have confidence in the IPCC's conclusions, given that it is all on the basis of peer-reviewed literature.
This is what the analysis judged: how many of the cited sources were actually peer-reviewed journals. And it turns out that a significant number of the sources were not.
The remainder were press releases, newspaper and magazine clippings, student theses, newsletters, discussion papers, and literature published by green advocacy groups. Such material is often called "gray literature," she said, and it stands in stark contrast to the U.N.'s claims about the study's sources.
In graduate school - and that seems a minimal standard for these folks - a grade of “C” is passing, but not really acceptable. This report shows that 57% of the chapters received a “D” or an “F” (which, when I went to grad school, would have translated to 57% at the level of “F,” there being no grade of “D”) and 71% at the level of “C” or worse.
A grad student receiving such grades would be asked to leave school.
