Dick Morris: Bill Clinton Personally Orchestrated the 1993 Waco, Texas Tragedy
Canada Free Press ^ | Tuesday, April 20, 2010 | Fred Dardick

Posted on 04/20/2010 11:26:05 AM PDT by FredDardick

It looks like somebody is going to have to update the Waco Siege page on Wikipedia. Apparently the whitewashed history that former President Bill Clinton would like us to believe regarding the 1993 federal assault on the Branch Davidian compound in Waco, Texas, is missing important details regarding his own personal involvement.

In response to Bill Clinton’s highly publicized linking of the Tea Party movement to the 1995 Oklahoma City bombing in an op-ed piece for the New York Times, former Clinton adviser Dick Morris disclosed on Monday that it was Clinton himself, and not Attorney General Janet Reno, as Americans have been led to believe for the past 17 years, who called the shots during the 1993 botched invasion that led to the death of seventy-six people.

Yep, didn’t bubba claim that he first found about the Waco assault in the newspapers?

"Somebody here on FR raked me over the coals on this saying it was George Bush Sr. who was in office and Reno was his AG when Waco happened ...."

Yeah, just like the Luftwaffe bombed the Japanese Navy at Pearl Harbor to start the Korean War!

She always did.

According to "Partners in Power," under the dual presidency, Hitlery was to handle domestic issues and the Perver in Chief foreign policy.

Blame the bombers.

I completely agree.

It's interesting though that the same crowd that blames Islamic terrorism on the Iraq and Afghanistan wars and the Bush administration refuses to follow the same logic and blame OKC on Waco and the Clinton administration.

A fascinating documentary that proves (IMHO) that federal agents shot at people attempting to escape the burning complex:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qLXhmPuBmd4

Whether you agree or like the Branch Davidians or not is irrelevant - they were American citizens and did not deserve to be immolated by the actions of agents under the command of Bill Clinton and Janet Reno.

Know another little secret? Who do you suppose was put in charge of the 14 month long, $17 million investigation of what happened at Waco (what now looks like a cover-up that makes Watergate pale in comparison)? Give up?

Eric Holder, who was the #2 man in the Justice Dep’t, that’s who.

And not one word of questioning on his role in this during his confirmation hearing. They all got away with murder.

Preventing Hillary! from being the democrat candidate until she’s likely too old to run is the ONLY thing I’m grateful to BO for.

"Clinton was directly responsible for Waco and deserves all the blame for that. "

I'd even take issue with this statement. Yes, Clinton, his subordinates and officials in Texas mishandled this, and perhaps even violated federal law with respect to assets deployed to the situation. But, David Koresh is the person who is directly responsible for Waco, not Bill Clinton.

If David Koresh's name was Abdul Hussein, and it was a muzzie compound rather than some faux-Christian sect, people would be showing no mercy for those killed in the "raid".

Koresh was mad-man, who probably institutionally molested young girls, and kept women against their will. The world is better off without him, it's just too bad the federal government was so fiercely incompetent that they allowed some 30 children to be killed in the process.

He should have resigned the day this newspaper appeared

If he had any honor;

Should have, but wouldn’t since he is not an honorable person.

He is very power hungry, since that’s what gets all the girls:

How many did he have (that he boasted about to Monica?)

And how he couldn’t impregnate any of them since he had a childhood disease ........ so, scr*w away!

Oh, and don’t forget to use the Troopers and the S. Service, too.

BTW, whatever happened to the Trooper’s book?

And even the Troopergate articles -——— disappeared forever!

Don’t believe me —— Google it and let me know if you find them.

Well, I surmised it. I don’t KNOW anything for sure. Logically, both are responsible for the debacle. He could have stopped her, and she could have stopped him. She just seemed like a dolt and he appeared to have the greater imagination for something like that. What surprises me is the folks who were fat, dumb and ornery enough to carry through with it in Waco. No one gets a rose pinned on him or her in this.

..got away with murder...

It is good to investigate, because they plan future events based on what they got away with in the past.

If it had been the Black Panthers or any Muslim group they’d still be camped out in Waco waiting.

I think Morris felt he kept quiet for long enough and with the recent ex-Pres Clintoon bashing conservatives was the hammer that broke the camels back.

What other back room dirt is known about the power-hungry Clintoons from 1960 through today?

There are hours and hours of VIDEO DOCUMENTARIES available on the Internet that go into the 'dirt', or as some call it, 'the truth'.

It would be difficult and time-consuming to list it all in one post.

You are wrong the Waco seige started on February 28, 1993. Clinton took office on Jan 20th 1993 so he was in office then.
