Jim Inhofe: Bill Clinton comments 'unconscionable'

Former President Bill Clinton’s comments surrounding the Oklahoma City bombing commemoration are “unconscionable” and an “over-the-top” effort to silence critics, Sen. Jim Inhofe (R-Okla.) said Tuesday.

Clinton has drawn fire for reprising criticism he made of conservative talk radio 15 years in the wake of the bombing of the Oklahoma City federal building that took 168 lives and injured more than 500 others.

“I could not believe it when I first saw the Clinton remarks that he had come out again, 15 years later, and talked about this being precipitated by right wing talk radio,” Inhofe said in an interview for POLITICO’s Arena forum. “This is an over-the-top effort to try to stop a movement of people who aren’t amenable to supporting Obama programs, like cap and trade, government-run health care and closing Gitmo.”

Clinton’s remarks have fostered a spirited back and forth about the role of increasingly heated political rhetoric by tea party protesters and others.

Rep. Tom Cole (R-Okla.), for instance, warned the former president not to “cheapen” the memory of the Oklahoma City bombing by comparing the anti-government sentiment that fueled it to the anti-Washington anger that drives the tea party movement. But former Rep. Mickey Edwards, an Oklahoma Republican who represented the Oklahoma City area from 1977-1993, said in Arena that Clinton’s remarks were taken out of context and were actually more nuanced.

Inhofe saw the issue in starker terms.

Mickey Edwards is a liar, a coward and has taken to sitting on panels that trash conservative Republicans, of course he’d defend Clinton.

Nuanced indeed.

Once again, it must depend on what the definition of "is" is.

It Clinton touches it - it’s cheapened.

If Obama touches it, it’s material for hazmat disposal.

“Of course, it’s not a majority of tea party members who engage in this kind of violence-tinged rhetoric and action, but it only takes one or two on the margins of a movement to unleash violence,” Sherrilyn Ifill, a law professor at the University of Maryland, wrote in Arena

And why would we think some anonymous law professor we've never heard of would know ANYTHING about the subject?

Just like it only takes a few leaders “on the margins” with millions of kool-aid drinking followers to vote them in, to bring about socialism and bankrupty to the United States within less than 18 months.

CLICK ON COMMODE BOY

It will be remembered that Clinton got the eleven points he needed for re-election from covering up the Middle Eastern/Islamist connections to OKCBomb researched by Jayna Davis.

I saved 9 screenshots of the Waco massacre from your link yesterday for a slideshow. Will be a big job to do what I want to do with them.

Cong Issa's report on ACORN includes a blistering executive summary: ACORN and SEIU entered into illegal agreements that constitute a criminal conspiracy, and identified a pattern of alleged criminal acts.

COLLUDING TO FUND DEMOCRATS' VOTE-BUYING MACHINE

Clinton pictured above with ACORN founder Wade Rathke.
The tax-exempt Clinton Foundation had just donated $250,000 to ACORN.

=================================================

BACKSTORY In addition to the $250,000, the tax-exempt Clinton Foundation also provided $275,000 in tax-exempt grants supposedly for ACORNS’S "Katrina Benefits Access project" and ACORN'S "Operation Hope Project; Restore Hope." The tax-exempt Clinton Foundation also helped secure "private sector" commitments for ACORN.

JUST WONDERING Can ACORN produce records on how they spent the money? Oh, nevermind. The IRS, SEC, FBI, Congress and the GAO can find out (/snic).

============================================

The IRS has pinpointed tax-exempts and non-profits as the locus classicus for money laundering and tax evasion (stolen money is taxable). The biggest frauds are tax-exempts writing checks to other tax-exempts---the way these "altruistic do-gooders" siphon off, then launder, tax-free monies for themselves.

The Rathkes embezzled millions from ACORN --- but their activities offshore gives rise to concerns about massive govt fraud and money laundering.

Since 1970, ACORN has organized in 1,200 neighborhood chapters in 110 cities across the US and in cities in Canada, Mexico, the Dominican Republic, Peru, Argentina and India.

ACORN also appears to have been involved in improper use of pension funds ..... some of the Rathke embezzlment was apparently taken from the pension fund using ACORN's American Express card. This displacement of funding led to the creation of a complex repayment system in which accused embezzler Dale Rathke owed ACORN, and ACORN in turn, owed ABA, which, for its part, wrote off part of the money. (Excerpt) Read more at spectator.org ...

ACORN receives funding from a variety of tax-exempt private charitable organizations: the Bauman Family Foundation, George Soros' Open Society Institute, the Charles Stewart Mott Foundation and from corporate foundations, including JP Morgan Chase Foundation, Ben & Jerry's foundation, Bank of America Charitable Foundation, and Citigroup, as well as the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation, the Ford Foundation, and tax-exempt foundations affiliated with the founder of (UPS). (NPR: ACORN's Money Tree Has Many Branches, October 15, 2008).

A full list of ACORN and ACORN affiliate donors is available from the Capital Research Center, a non-profit organization which studies political advocacy groups. (Foundation Watch, 2008: Capital Research Center Cracks the ACORN)

The assault on Mt. Carmel, the cover-up of OKCB and their exploitation by traitorrapist42 leading to his re-election is that decade's dark scar.

Your work with that of Carol Moore and Jayna Davis keeps it in the foreground serving as those WRONG WAY signs on the interstate exit ramps.

It is readily apparent there is to be more bloodshed by a totalitarian regime as pretext for its propaganda.

Let Bill Clinton and Barak Obama remember it was Malcolm X after JFK's assassination, and Jeremiah Wright after 911 who said America's "chickens comin' home to roost".

Only the America-hating Left could take demonic delight in human suffering.

We won't be fooled.
