Establishment 'Rats generally don't consider Rasmussen to be an accurate pollster. They would prefer to look at the numerous pro-'Rat pollsters such as NY Times, CBS, Quinnipiac, Marist, Pew, WaPo, Gallup, etc., rather than Ras, whom they consider to be biased toward the Pubbies.
But now even those other polls are showing at least a slight margin for the GOP in the generic ballot. And O's speech last night is not likely to give the 'Rats much of a bump at all, as it was panned even by most of the MSM.
I was starting to get a bit concerned when the GOP margin in the Ras Generic ballot had shrunk down to +5 about a month ago, but it looks now that it was just a little blip in the trend.
I hope the Rats live in denial until November.

Zero (or his Puppetmasters) plan to throw under the bus any Demwit who doesn’t demonstrate idealogical purity and/or the right skin tone — or if that won’t work, then any Demwit who doesn’t think that Zero got him or her into office in the first place. Major liabilities (and possible political rivals) will be the only exceptions, because either A) they will come to owe their next reelection to Zero’s help, or B) they will come in handy as scapegoats for major stuff that goes wrong (think, “show trial”). The more a fellow Demwit is seen as a rival for the Presidency, the more quickly their personal political destruction will be begun.
They didn’t have any problem with Rasmussen till he he started showing them consistently trailing in key races.
