I read that thread at the time, it links to the certificate that a prankster took credit for - the one signed by "EF Lavender." I believe you mean the other one, that Lucas Smith showed, the one with the footprint? However WND posted pictures of genuine Kenyan birth certificates from the era, and they don't look like the one with the footprint, either. And yes, there were several significant questions raised about this document.

No, the thread topic was actually the Lucas Smith document. Later I’ll look up a post that explains why the two got confused (hint: Orly). The Smith document had NOT been ruled out by the end of that thread and it is still possible that it is real. It can’t be proved authentic but nothing about it rules that possibility out. If I find the comment, I’ll post a link to you.
