Hmm ... CBS story here, and a CNN story with the same bent earlier this morning ... Couldn’t possibly be any of that MSM collusion, could it?

What’s so laughable about a state wanting to review a candidate’s birth certificate before they put them on the ballot in that state? Seems like due dilligence to me.

"Arizona "Birther" Bill Dismissed by White House, Slammed by Critics"
Why doesn't the white house dispatch this issue by releasing all the records? Most transparent administration indeed.

Since Washington sees no problem with this, I guess we can assume that if other states did the same thing, they wouldn’t mind?

what exactly is wrong with confirming the CONSTITUTIONAL ELIGIBILITY of any candidate before they are put on the ballot.

Basically STFU you Pantywaist pissant president. Show the damn long form of the birth certificate. When I went into the military in 1982 I had to show my birth certificate to enter. When I was discharged with 100% disability for being in Lebanon, I had to show the birth certificate again. When I worked for the United States Postal Service birth certificate was required. When I worked for the US census in 1990 I had to show the birth certificate. basically I am sick and tired of the millions being spent to defend the non release of the damn birth certificate. His mother should have thrown away the baby and kept the afterbirth

Why in the world would anyone, especially a sitting President of the United States, be opposed to a State enacting a procedure to ensure that future candidates for President meet the Constitution's standard for eligibility?
Say what?
That's like someone in the NFL getting mad that the league tightens up on its free agent procedures for future free agents.
Say what?
That's like someone getting mad that a college establishes a procedure to make sure that students are citizens, and therefore eligible for certain types of admission and funding status. Oh, wait, the White House DID get mad, and DOJ did sue a college for requiring proof of citizenship:

I love how the Arizona Republic is quoted as the source explaining the motivation behind the legislation. That’s like the LA Times quoting the NY Times as a source. The law would apply to all and would help prevent “birther” type conspiracy theories in the future. How would this be a bad idea?
I’m proud of my state this week. (I doubt Hayworth can unseat McCain but he will have my vote)

So, the bill says:
The Arizona House of Representatives on Monday voted 31 - 22 to advance a bill that would require Arizona's secretary of state to review a presidential candidate's birth certificate before that candidate could get on the ballot in the state.
It's as if asking for someone's birth certificate is some intrusive measure.
For Pete's sake, both my kids had to have their birth certificates to play in the local soccer league!
Doesn't seem like a big hurdle that anyone who wants to be president should have to meet.
Me thinks thou doth protest too much.

Representative Sinema,
Why would insuring that constitutional standards are met make Arizona a laughing stock? The U.S. Constitution is the law, isn't it? Is the Constitution now a laughing stock?
I don't find it funny at all, do you?

Antceecee posted this on another thread: "
Funny how their only defense is to attack those who seek to have candidates be properly vetted as 'birthers'."
That really hit home, because even though the "royalty" in the White House is trying to "dismiss" the bill, they know the pressure is mounting.
And, as Pissant said, "
the MSM is circling the wagons...". I'm guessing they are the "critics" mentioned in the headline.
Well the dogs that holler loudest are the ones hardest bitten.
If the kenyan had nothing to hide, and Arizona was demanding a COLB, he would have said "
Sure, how many copies do you need?"
But, he doesn't...he just keeps spending more money - over $2 million to date - to hide it (probably our tax money, too.).
Now they love to pee on our shoes and tell us "it's raining", but that dog won't hunt...they don't hold an exclusive franchise on common sense and common sense would dictate to someone who just returned from Mars that something fishy is going on in DC.
The White House Limp Wrister is starting to remind me of "The Kingfish", on the old "Amos 'n' Andy" show of the 50's. "The Kingfish" was the king of fraudulent deals, always pulling a fast one on dim-witted Andy. I remember he sold him a formula for "invisible glass", and a "new home" that was just the front for a movie set.
The "kingobama" sells us a bag of goods everyday, and boy do we pay through the nose to get it...usually we don't get a say-so with his trained seals in the Congress balancing his balls on their noses.
When this fraud finally sees the light of day - and it will - it will make the global warming scam look like little George Washington cutting down the cherry tree. It will have world-wide repercussions, and serious ones at that.
He has "moved out of the way" for Putin to make a comeback, for Achmadinnerjacket to find new, nuke, parts, and for Hezbollah to advance on Israel. It will be like giving the "moocher" class in America, new "entitlements"...they will be hard to take away. The next President - if their is one after the obama coup - will have his/her hands full straightening out the mess obama is creating in world affairs.

The MSM is circling the wagons around their fraudulent gay marxist hero Yup.
Every single Republican governed state should pass such a bill, especially after we have taken control of more state congresses in November.
