What’s so laughable about a state wanting to review a candidate’s birth certificate before they put them on the ballot in that state? Seems like due dilligence to me.

Hey, I’m going to have to show a certified copy of my birth certificate when I renew my Florida driver’s license in 2012. I see no reason the “anointed one” should get a pass on his birth certificate to become President of the United States.

Kyrsten Sinema, a Democratic representative in the Arizona state legislature, said the "birther bill" recently advanced in the Arizona House would make the state "the laughing stock of the nation."

The typical humiliate and belittle the opponent approach. What amazes me is how well this tactic seems to work, that birthers are the nutty fringe even though Obama refuses to show his birth certificate.

Many years ago I was required to present a valid birth certificate to get a driver's license.Somehow I think the Presidency of the United States is a bit more important than that.

******

What a horrible law proposal in Arizona.

What will we have next: Little League officials requiring players to present their long form birth certificates before they can join a Little League team?

Oh, I'm sorry. I think Little League officials already have that requirement. Never mind.
