Arizona "Birther" Bill Dismissed by White House, Slammed by Critics

Kyrsten Sinema, a Democratic representative in the Arizona state legislature, said the "birther bill" recently advanced in the Arizona House would make the state "the laughing stock of the nation." Reaction to the legislation indicates people agree.

The Arizona House of Representatives on Monday voted 31 - 22 to advance a bill that would require Arizona's secretary of state to review a presidential candidate's birth certificate before that candidate could get on the ballot in the state.

The Arizona Republic reports, "The legislation originated from a fringe group that believes President Barack Obama is not a natural-born citizen of the United States and therefore ineligible to be president."

‘Birther’ is a label of PRIDE...it means you have some degree of moral courage...it means you see the king wears no cloths...it means until HE proves otherwise we have a usurper in the office of president of the united states...it means that the mainstream media (MSNBC, CNN, FOX, you name it) doesn’t work when they refuse to do truthful investigative journalism and instead try to feed the masses sh*&T.

The people of this country must NEVER ALLOW a USURPER regardless of what RACE, CREED, or RELIGION they are.

Yeah, then I say, see you in court, buddy! Let’s see how “arbitrary” it is to uphold the Constitution. Even if AZ’s procedure needed to be tweaked, how would that happen? The SCOTUS would have to provide clarity and guidance on what, exactly, constitutes a “qualified” person under the Constitution.

A local morning AM talk show host related a story about his 89 yo father who is a WWII vet. He was born at home and got a BC a year or so later issued by a hospital. That was not good enough for the State dept to issue him a passport. The family offered his service records, no again. The State dept then asked for baptismal records...again not good enough since they were in Latin. The church has offered to issue a translation and that is were it sits right now.

An 89 yo war hero just wants to go to Italy with his son an he is put through heck. Yet the SOB occupying the WH puts up a fuss about a simple piece of paper. I would love to see him apply for a driver’s license in FL.

I’m sure as this heats up, the Obama admin and all the resources at their disposal will have no problem manufacturing a legit certificate and the media will gleefully wag it in our faces..
I just don’t see it being very difficult to counterfeit this thing if they need to.
