Were you aware of this?
"A Fox representative noted that Geico is dropping its ads from the show but was quick to note that it was shifting dollars to other programs. "The advertisers referenced have all moved their spots from Beck to other programs on the network, so there has been no revenue lost," the rep said." Source

The guy was an idiot for thinking leaving a nasty message was good but then to leave his phone number and then brag about doing it on his blog? He now not only has lost his job but I predict it will be a very long time before he finds a good paying voice over job again. He has a very recognizable voice and no major company is going to want to have this tied to their product.

I’ll bet $10,000 of my own cash right here right now, that every American with a sub-par intellect, convicted of murder in the last two years has a history of supporting Obama!

Any takers!

“”Government reforms should provide for more options, not less. That is why I support tax-free medical savings accounts, portability, tort reform and the ability to purchase insurance across state lines.”Eric Wargotz on Health Care Reform”

One of the GE Corporation’s democrat party vicious propagandists.

He’ll probably be given an anchor slot on MSLSD.

Oh that mskes more even more sense. He has no suite, no job, and probably no more good paying jobs until this all goes down the memory hole.

GEICO fired the guy because he insulted their customers and potential customers, it really isn’t hard to understand. For MSNBC it is. They drive their customers away all the time.

Thank the Lord for First Amendment crusaders like
Larry O’Donnell. Hey Larry, are you going to bat
for Donny Deutsch, the CNBC show anchor who was
fired because he made on-air uncomplimentary com-
ments that caused Keith Olbermann to success-
fully seek his termination?

I’m surprised O’Donnell still has a job. He’s a loose canon without the moral character of a canon.

Of course it was to protect their bottom line. The people that are in the Tea Party buy things, insure things, and work hard. They don’t like it when someone insults them.

Personally, I have had issues with companies with whom I do a lot a business. It is amazing what a well targeted letter outlining the issue, and your lifetime value with the company, can do for a response.

Good for Geico for pulling the plug on these guys. its shows that their heart is in the right place: making a profit in a capitalist society.

But isn't that part of the job requirement for working at MSNBC?

Baxter has since been fired for this disgusting message, and O'Donnell filling in for Keith Olbermann on Wednesday's "Countdown" actually came to the actor's defense claiming he was only exercising his First Amendment rights (video follows with transcript and commentary):

And GEICO was just exercising their First Amendment right to freely associate (or not) with whom they choose. What's the problem?

LAWRENCE O`DONNELL, HOST: Members of the tea party say they`re upset about the unemployment rate, but it turns out they`ve just added to the problem.

Riiight. Baxter's a jackass, and it's their fault.

I switch my more than 25 years with the Gecco to another company JUST because they dropped Glenn Book who I have lost all respect for, because of HIS traitorous attack on the Constitutionalists who challenge the Constitutional eligibility issues and sealed records!!!

O,Donnell wouldn’t have to make the call, he would say it on air. Have you ever seen this guy when he gets unhinged?

You betcha! See the link in Post #27 for my very favorite example of Larry Unhinged.

What bothers me is that Liberalism allows people to feel comfortable making statements like that. He felt as if everyone agreed...including the MILLIONS of Geico customers.

He lost.
