What’s really fun about this whole episode, is that it turns out the person in the bear costume wasn’t Muhammad after all...it was Santa Claus (watch the episode.) You summed it up. I watch South Park, but Comedy Central also airs that vulgar Daily Show that is a lunatic liberal diatribe. They don’t have a lot of credibility.
