Only one more acquittal to go.
Two of the three Navy SEALs court-martialed in Iraq for supposedly mistreating a brutal terrorist were cleared of all charges this week.
Petty Officer 1st Class Julio Huertas and Petty Officer 2nd Class Jonathan Keefe had been part of the team that last year captured Ahmed Hashim Abed -- mastermind of the murder and mutilation of four US contractors in Fallujah in 2004.
But when Abed complained that another SEAL, Petty Officer 2nd Class Matthew McCabe, had given him a fat lip (or some such thing) in custody, the two were brought up on dereliction charges for failing to intervene.

This should have never gotten past the questioning stage.
To try to convict these men is a travesty.
I pray the last man will be found innocent as well.
"Seer cat say's after McCabe is cleared the MSM will never ask Odumbo anything about it....he can't defend them, his brothers will get angry if he did"
Matthew McCabe for congress or senate, found ‘guilty’ or not!
What surprises me is that those over the general officer who convened these three courtsmartial have not yet “lost faith” in his leadership ability. Oh, I forget, they got to where they are by not making tough but unpopular decisions like telling the terrorists there is no evidence these SEALS did anything illegal and the terrorist is lucky to be alive because the three SEALS used such restraint and didn’t simply blow is smelly behind off.
It goes without saying that his whole proceeding was an outrage. It went as far as it did because anti-war leftists in the government want to demoralize our soldiers. We’ve seen this before and there’s more to come.
We can’t remain silent about this.
