Expert agrees that pedophilia is linked to homosexuality

The newspaper, El Diaro de Chile, published an article last week by Spanish psychologist Jose Maria Amenos Vidal titled, “Cardinal Tarcisio Bertone and the scientific evidence that supports the relationship between homosexuality and pedophilia.” The author asserts that the cardinal was correct in affirming such a link during his visit to Chile.

Since 1984, Vidal has been a professor of Philosophy and Educational Science at the Central University of Barcelona, Spain, where he is also Director of Seminars in the Departments of General and Social Psychology.

In his article, Vidal recalls that the renowned Spanish doctor and psychiatrist, Aquilino Polaino, an expert in the field, previously pointed out that homosexuality should be considered a mental disease, and must be addressed with psychiatric treatment, under the guidance of the model set forth by Gerard J.M. van den Aardweg.

Aardweg is the Dutch professor and psychologist who years ago, “deciphered the keys to this illness and its treatment.” His model directly clashes with those of Sigmund Freud and Alfred Adler, Vidal said, “because orthodox and heterodox psychoanalysts have defended the unscientific position that homosexuality is the result of hereditary factors.” He noted that “this hypothesis … has been completely ruled out today because of its incongruence with the results of scientific research.”

He added that one can conclude that the “social environment is indeed (homosexuality's) main trigger.”

From this point of view, Vidal continued, “The recent statements by the Vatican Secretary of State, Cardinal Tarcisio Bertone, during his recent trip to Chile support the scientific evidence derived from statistical co-relational studies between homosexuality and pedophilia.”

Actually plain common sense suggests a link between homosexuality and pedophilia. This assertion is supported by findings that pedophiles are homosexuals, maybe fewer than 100% maybe not.

A homosexual is nearly 50 times more likely to be arrested and convicted of a sexual act against a minor than a heterosexual, to claim no link between the two is flat out lying.

In fact a good many homosexual men that I have interacted with fall into 1 of 3 main categories, abused themselves as children by a man, bad or no relationship with their own father of father figure, completely overbearing mothers or mother figure. No, having any or all 3 of these things in your background doesn’t mean you will become a homosexual yourself, but the commonality of these events in those that are is far beyond statistical anomaly.

Logically, homosexuality is abnormal. Reproduction is the natural drive for every species.

Accordingly, if it is indeed, as claimed, genetic -- the inescapable conclusion is that homosexuality is a birth defect. Just like missing limbs and other malformations, autism and other mental conditions.

Recognizing homosexuality's true nature puts us part way on the path to solving it.

When the gay lobby claims, "There is no scientific link between homosexuality and pedophilia", they are absolutely correct.

There isn't.

BUT ..... (no pun intended) ..... they are just playing a word game.

The very high correlation between homosexuality and sexual behavior with post-pubescent boys has been documented throughout History and the practice was a major part of ancient Greek culture:

So, when the gay lobby claims, in a debate about allowing gays to be adult leaders in the Boy Scouts that, "There is no scientific link between homosexuality and pedophilia", they are correct.

The equally correct response is, "While that is true, the Boy Scouts are post-pubescent boys and sex with them is scientifically classified as pederasty, not pedophilia. Now that we have satisfied the Word Police, we can categorically state that a strong correlation between homosexuality and pederasty has been extremely well documented for thousands of years."

I’ve known a lot of gays in my travels - I was once in community theater, and met a lot of gay men and women. Just listening was enough to convince me that homosexual behavior is a matter of culture and environment, not genetics. That’s not a very politically correct observation, but it is confirmed over and over - and now by this researcher.

It’s also seemed as if most of the gays I talked with started off with what might best be described as a seduction experience with an older gay person.

Again, that’s just experiential evidence, but it is compelling.

There’s also one other observation. I lived among Eskimos (Yup’ik people, to be precise). I’ve known literally hundreds of Yup’iks, and in small villages, where the sexuality of others is common fodder for gossip. I have never met a gay Yup’ik. You’d think that there should be some gay Yup’iks, if the so-called expert figures about 1 percent or 2 percent or 10 percent or whatever proportion of the population is “naturally” gay. I have never met any gay Yup’iks. On the other hand, I’ve met literally dozens of gay Americans of various ethnicities.

My wife, who was born and raised in Africa, also reports that she never ran into gays - until she became friends with South Africans of English heritage.

I vote for environment and culture.

Jung, as I recall, thought of widespread as the result of a confusion of sexual roles in urban environments. It seems to have been a feature of upper class society in England, where boys were sent off to boarding school at an early age.

I’ve been saying that for decades and people on this site keep arguing that age makes a difference between calling it pedophilia, pederasty or homosexuality - when in fact age has never been the thing that determines if a sexual act is homosexual or not, it has to do with what gender they do the act upon.

A gay guy who molests boys is a homosexual pedophile.

A gay guy who likes teen boys is a homosexual pederast.

A gay guy who likes other adut men is a homosexual.

Given the fact many gays are raped by other adult men when they are boys or in their teens, why is it surprising they do the same thing when they are adults?
