A Taliban militant gets lost and is wandering around the desert looking for water. He finally arrives at a store run by a Jew and asks for water. The Jewish vendor tells him he doesn’t have any water but can gladly sell him a tie. The Taliban, the jokes goes on, begins to curse and yell at the Jewish storeowner. The Jew, unmoved, offers the rude militant an idea: Beyond the hill, there is a restaurant; they can sell you water. The Taliban keeps cursing and finally leaves toward the hill. An hour later he’s back at the tie store. He walks in and tells the merchant: “Your brother tells me I need a tie to get into the restaurant.”

Is it horrible that I chuckled? Does it make me a bad Jew or something? Hundreds of years of Jewish jokes are based on us getting one over on our enemies or showing them to be fools.
Seriously, Jones, Zib and Obama are enabling a nuclear Iran. Tha'ts what I'm angry about.

No, no more than it makes me a bad Irish woman for laughing at Irish fighting and drinking jokes. We all used to have a good time laughing and joking with each other but...no more. The leftist ploy, Political Correctness, has stopped it all.

I frankly don't see any slam here, nor slight, nor unfortunate characterization of Jews, nor merchants. The joke fits very fine in the context of the nasty, foolish hatred that Wahabi tend to have for Jews. Take a breath.

BTW, an old employer I had told me once that his synagoge's president shouted to him in the parking lot after one meeting, "David, do you know why there are gentiles?"
