NEW YORK (WPIX) - Thousands of Jews gathered outside the Israeli Consulate Sunday to protest President Obama's position towards Israel.
Organizers said the event supports "Israel's right to build and live in its own country," as well as its right to unite Jerusalem under Israeli sovereignty. They are also protesting the Obama Administrations' alleged disregard of the democratic Jewish state.

“Thousands of Jews gathered outside the Israeli Consulate Sunday”
How could they tell ?
Could you imagine the uproar if a paper headlined an article;
“Thousands of mexicans gathered at the Arizona capital” ?
A few days beforehand, I invited approx 15 Jews to attend this rally. None of them would come.
It “wasn’t their thing.”
Then it got rained out, so I didn’t go either.
Pray for Israel. G-d is powerful, and he still rules the earth. We daily see his power, and G-d has the power to rule the earth as he wills.
Numbers 10 1
[9] And if ye go to war in your land against the enemy that oppresseth you, then ye shall blow an alarm with the trumpets; and ye shall be remembered before the LORD your God, and ye shall be saved from your enemies.

This article is wrong.
I was there. Not thousands - hundreds.
No major organizations were there.
Well, that's so typical of the lefty MSM. I'm sure that Al Sharpton's idiotic demonstration - against the newly passed Arizona law aimed at illegal aliens in Arizona - got much more air time on that very same NYC station.
NYC local newscasts are generally so local to the extreme of being parochial in the subjects they choose to air, except when it comes to local stuff in favor of Israel. Expect the same shoddy local MSM coverage - if any - when the Salute to Israel Parade will involve tens of thousands (maybe more) participants and friendly spectators in NYC on Sunday May 23.
