Weird...they are going to teach about something that doesn’t exist. There’s no such thing as “same-sex marriage.”

The Catholic Church better jack up on these institutions

I should receive a tax break for enjoying chocolate. Makes as much sense as “same-sex marriage”.

Please. Many “Catholic” universities in America are CINO. I went to Georgetown for graduate school. I think there was a cross somewhere on campus but it was covered up to avoid offending anyone.

Most Catholic colleges place liberalism over Catholic doctrine. I send my kids to Catholic school through high school. There’s no way I would waste my money on a Catholic college. There are only a few truly Catholic colleges and Notre Dame and Boston College are not among them.

“Theres no such thing as same-sex marriage.
At best, they mean “homosexual marriage,” which, in and of itself, can’t possible exist . . . defies logic.

Why not a course on the mating habits of seahorses? Much more interesting wherein the male has the offspring.

What’s your take on this? Notre Dame and Seton Hall appear to be nothing more than additional bastions of the leftist educational establishment.
How did that happen?

Many of this country’s oldest private universities began as religious college. Harvard, for instance, was founded by Puritans. Others were founded by various Protestant denominations. And virtually all of them became secularized.
Unfortunately, it looks as if many Catholic colleges are going down the same road as the Protestant colleges did earlier.

If it's taught properly? An overview of the current legal arguments could be worthwhile.
But I admit I know next to nothing about Seton Hall University.

"The notion that marriage is a stable and ancient human arrangement, derived from divine revelation, limited to that existing between one man and one woman, and binding save through the permission of a single Church is contrived. It is laughable to consider that human relationships could ever find satisfaction and expression in this single interpretation of marriage," he continued. Set up a strawman and knock him over. The Church has said that marriage is a natural institution and that God intends it to be between one man and one woman. He may laugh at this, but it is like laughing at the command: Thou shalt not steal.

You know the answer to that.

I was at Seton Hall about 25 years ago. It’s not a radical institution at the administrative level, but I encountered left wing professors that could curl your hair, including a radical anti-American Iranian professor, a gay priest trying to molest students, lesbian feminist professors insisting that female students must be lesbians to prove they can live w/o men.
IOW I am not even slightly surprised by this story. College campuses are hangouts for crazy leftists.
