Mount Ararat was most notably Volcanically active around 3000 b.c. and a few times since. You will notice the lava flow covering the wooden beams in some places and actually ending the beams as it appears the lava burnt through them in attached picture (left center). Hard to plant something like this. Either this is Noah's Ark or an old man-made structure (ref. 1840 volcanic activity, really an earthquake where structures were cover)....It appears this structure is at least as old as the covering lava flow.

There are shrines all throughout that area dedicated to the remembrance of Noah that have been around who knows how long.
