San Francisco Mayor Gavin Newsom announced today a moratorium on official city travel to Arizona after the state enacted a controversial new immigration law that directs local police to arrest those suspected of being in the country illegally.

The ban on city employee travel to Arizona takes effect immediately, although there are some exceptions, including for law enforcement officials investigating a crime, officials said. It's unclear how many planned trips by city workers will be curtailed.

This should really help San Fernasco get their financial house in order. Their dumbass “employees” shouldn’t be goofin’ of in Arizona anyway. They should be working in San Fernasco. That’s what the city is paying them to do.

This will last until someone tells Mayor Gavin that Brokeback Mountain is located just outside of Tuscon.

If we had known this bill would cause the illegal aliens to leave and the San Francisans to refuse to come here, we would have passed this bill a long, long time ago.

With a $500 MILLION CITY deficit they shouldn't be allowed to travel anywhere! Sheesh! When your own house is in order, take a deep breath and still STFU!

Deficit will probably grow with their fabulous safe haven ordinances.

I would love to see Mayor Gavin Newsom and other’s like obama, who are against AZ’s bill, wake up to find a tent city of illegals at “their” homes, in “their” yards.

I want to see them either live with them like the want the people of AZ, or call the police to remove them from “their” yards.

A swift retaliation is in order. The sate of Arizona should ban all travel by state government employees to San Francisco at once. Let's see who gets hammered most shall we?

So are they saying that their state employees are all illegal immigrants?

Hmmmmm, since liberals wish to play this game, why not turn it around on them?

Conservative states with governors and AG’s who oppose Obamacare should issue immediate bans on all official travel to states that support Obamacare or any other liberal cause du jour of the day.

Our employees aren’t allowed to travel anywhere. They can’t even travel within the state. Arizona is broke thanks to Napolitano and her illegal alien friends.

Arizona has been invaded by 460,000 foreigners.

Ergo, Arizona is at WAR!

U.S. Constitution:

"No State shall...engage in War, unless actually invaded, or in such imminent Danger as will not admit of delay."

[Notice the words "WAR", "INVADED", "DANGER", "DELAY"]

exceptions, including for law enforcement officials investigating a crime

This is too rich, SF will allow police the exception to investigate a crime. Well that's greater powers then the police currently have in SF when it comes to illegals!

A boycott of AZ will only hurt the businesses that employ the illegals, like the hotels and restaurants.
