A sense of humor required to maintain sanity.....

I know First Sergeants have no sense of humor.
That’s part of the job requirement....
That was awesome! lmao!
Listen, Mister, if they were meant to have senses of humor, the military would have issued them one!
Military is amazingly refreshing. Thank you for posting.
Ha! When I was in Boot Camp in 1966, one of the DI's caught me grinning about something in formation, so I was called out with "Come here, laughing boy!"
My "sentence" was 'squat thrusts forever and ever' - which was about 20 minutes until we formed up to march to evening chow at the messhall.
Bring them home to clean out Washington and then we could all get a laugh (with out help of course)
out = our duh!!
That was very much needed! LOL!
Thanks for posting that, it certainly lifts the spirits!
Hm.... Very enjoyable, and well worth watching, but I don’t know that it’s “funny” in the comedy sense of the word.
I'd have never made it through either physically or mentally, but I love having them around. Those I've met are the kindest, most honest and intelligent people I've ever met.
I had a buddy that got caught chewing on a long piece of grass one afternoon.
By the time dinner came around, he had a pretty good idea of what it was like to be a cow.
I laugh now. Well, actually I laughed then too. Not pretty for the poor boy.
A recruit requested permission to make an ‘emergency head call’. The DI made him run up and down the squadbay making siren noises before letting him go.
‘squat thrusts forever and ever’
That’s hilarious! I wish I had thought of that my second-class year at the academy.
. . . forever and ever. Classic.
Loved it, thanks!
I got a million of 'em like that, most of which the few buddies I stay in touch with well remember; we can just go direct to the mental DVD player and go off with "Do I look like a you to youse, youse youse you???", "Pukeface", "Sweetheart", etc......
Then, there is always The Pit...
