Obama creates another straw man. Other than a few anarchists, no one believes that government is inherently evil. What bothers most people is the abuse of government. Governments will increase in size and power. It is the Iron Law of Oligarchy. More and more power is given to fewer and fewer people. You only need to look at the federal government today as compared to what it was under the Founding Fathers of this nation. Individual and state's rights have been almost completely usurped by the federal government. The worst despotism of all is paternalism.

This nation IS toast.
