The good citizens of PA will vote out the politicians who propose such and will reneg on the pension plans.
You will see the same actions in every state and municipality, eventually.

I live in Pennsylvania and no one is bailing out pension funds for my family. My wife’s company went bankrupt and not a dime went to our family. The pension for teachers and public workers is out of control. My teachers got a contract last year for 5 years. They got a 3.5% raise EVERY year for 5 years and they pay next to nothing for health care. It is WAY past time for them to take a hit. My family in the private sector has been pounded for years now!
