I believe you’re incorrect. Jeb was backing Rubio for some time now, but didn’t came out with an endorsement, until now.

Now let’s just hope he both campaigns and raises money for him!

Jeb is still very popular in Florida and if he campaigns actively for Rubio it will go a long way to put him over the top.

Many GOP politicians who are consistently slammed as worthless RINOs here on FR do in fact have a lot of support among the public.

Which is why if you get all your political commentary here on FR, reality has a way of dealing you nasty surprises (cf. Fred Thompson, the canonical example).

BRING BACK DUELLING IN CONGRESS!

Congress would have to be populated by men with courage and conviction. The entire current crop together couldn't muster the courage to duel someone like Andrew "Old Hickory" Jackson......it would be nice to see someone throw a shoe from time to time, though.....

It’ll be interesting to see which mainstream Republicans are now forced to back an actual conservative in the name of ‘party unity’.

Usually it’s the other way around.

“BRING BACK DUELLING IN CONGRESS!”

...it’s hard to duel when both parties are holding a “Starbucks vente mocha latte”.
