Is anybody but me having a problem getting on the facebook today? I can’t get on at all. The little IE explorer circle just keeps going round and round.
I don’t know whats wrong. It’s the only site that’s doing that on my computer.
I’ve been on but several of my posts are gone when I go back to the page. Earlier, it appeared that they were doing maintenance on the IM. Couldn’t chat.
you are absolutely correct
The attractive facet of 24, to me, is how "the plan" lasts right up to the point of initial engagement.
Yeah, that’s about as believable as the muslim passing laws without a crisis.
Sorry ... maybe I’m having a dense moment, but I don’t think I’m following you. You’re going to have to clarify that for me. I’m not sure what you’re referring to when you say “the plan” or “the point of initial engagement”. Thanks.

That was this past Monday night. I wondered how they did it and now we know.

Q: Your character got waterboarded in last weeks episode. What was your reaction when you got that script?
A: Well, when I first read it, I thought, Its about time they do something to this poor girl. [Laughs] I was excited to do it because Ive never been waterboarded, and I thought it would really be kind of fun. We tried to do it with a tube in my mouth, which just made it completely difficult, so I was like, You guys are just gonna have to waterboard me. They were like, Are you sure youre OK? and I was like, Oh yeah. Just waterboard me.
Q: Katee! Who wants to be waterboarded?
A: Its pretty crazy. Like, [the scene] was just basically me holding my breath. It was pretty intense. There was one time where I actually breathed in and I thought I was gonna die. I mean, it hurt so much, because your lungs just take in tons of water immediately. For some reason with that towel [over the face] being soaking wet, your lungs suck in water. Its crazy.
Q: Ive heard that even if you think you can handle the physical torture of waterboarding, the level of panic it induces in your brain is the thing that really gets you.
A: Thats the main thing, and not to mention that since the towel is full of water immediately, you cant breathe through it. As soon as you breathe in, you take in water like youre underwater.
Q: And they did multiple takes of that? A: Oh, multiple. Yes. All day. [Laughs]
Q: You sound kind of giddy about it! A: I really like that stuff! Im a bit insane when it comes to doing my own stunts and getting down and dirty. Its fun, you know? Its things I wouldnt normally do in my real life, so when I go to work and get to beat people up and shoot guns and get waterboarded, those are things I find completely interesting.

I was a pretty tough guy when I got waterboarded. 18 seconds. Best in the class was 21.
Formally or just in common usage?
You make a brilliant plan to assault and destroy an enemy (group, position, ship or aircraft), and then you execute "the plan" which works flawlessly until the first contact with the enemy, at which point, (in the real world), everything goes to s**t, and you must adapt or die.
Ah. Makes perfect sense. I was being dense ... as I suspected.
I think the fact that most of the plans are FUBAR by the end adds to the reality.

>>Waterboarding is supposed to suck thats the point. <<
I admire you to no end!!!!
I know, and they need to be called for what they are! And bravo to your husband! ;)
She didn’t kill Cole. Knocked him out but touched his cheek.
She couldn’t kill him, Freddy Prinze is going to be in the 24 movie. IMHO
the only trouble i’m having is with this darn computer.
Yeah, that was pretty much it for her redeeming moments. She did like the guy.
I figure the movie will be Jack, Prinze, Michael Madsen, Aaron Pierce and 1-armed Chase (from Ssn 3) taking over the world.
