Do Ordinary Americans Have The Right To Enforce Laws Against Illegal Immigration?
May 5, 2010 | Pinochet

At the time that America was founded, there were virtually no police departments. Law enforcement was mostly done by ordinary citizens. That was the very idea behind the concept of self-government - duh! The orginal idea behind the second ammendment, is that the people were supposed to be their own police force.

As far as I am aware, the right of American citizens to enforce the laws of their country, has never been legally revoked. The excuse that federal immigration authorities give for failure to enforce immigration laws, is that they do not have enough agents. Do ordinary Americans have the right to step in and help?

Can Americans make citizen's arrests of illegal aliens and hand over the aliens to federal agents? This may be the only measure that will make a serious dent on illegal immigration. If it is perfectly legal for bounty hunters to go after people who have failed to settle their debts, or to pay child support, can wealthy American patriots put up bounties for the arrests of illegal aliens by private citizens?

Sheriff Joe Arpaio and the Minutemen, are doing nothing more than fulfulling the historical responsibilities that ordinary citizens had, in enforcing the laws of their country.

If a group of rich American patriots can put up bounties of $100 for each illegal turned in to the federal authorities, we could lick the illegal immigration problem in only 6 months. Any thoughts on this?

Your success will depend upon the political agenda of the cops that respond to the incident.

For instance, if you try this in Sodom by the Sea, (San Francisco) with Gascon and Harris, plan on doing 25 to life for kidnapping.

Gascon's sole qualification for Chief of Police is his hatred for Sheriff Joe, and his ability to wet his pants when Joe walks into the room.

Question: "Do Ordinary Americans Have The Right To Enforce Laws Against Illegal Immigration?"

Response: Yes, it is called revolution. Revolution against the current crop of "Pols" is the only way the people are going to stop the alien flood. There is too much money and power at stake for businesses and politicians for them to do their duty.

Comment: The people are disorganized and lack trustworthy leaders. This is sad and we are being ruined as a society, polity, economy and a culture.

I like the bounty idea, but $100/head is too much. And turning them over to ICE won’t work, either, because they will either use, or Obama will tell them to use, “catch and release”.

So as an alternative, once a State has outlawed illegals for trespassing, it sets up a Joe Arpaio tent city near the border, out in the desert. It does two things.

First, whenever illegals are picked up, they are first turned over to the State, not the feds, and shipped to the tent city for “biometric processing”. And by this, I mean the whole shooting match. Fingerprints, footprints, criminal background check and DNA testing. Not just the minimal DNA testing normally done by the police, but full scale DNA testing, that could take weeks or even months.

Then make them a deal, while this is going on, if they choose to voluntarily return to Mexico, the State drives them to the border, and never has to bother ICE at all.

And this can only be done on a first offense. If they are ever picked up in the State again, they might spend six months or a year sitting in a tent jail in the desert. Serving their sentence before being turned over for deportation.

As far as the bounty goes, a registered bounty hunter should be required to work in a team, and be assigned to an observation post. On a daily basis, they will be given a set of radio frequencies to use, as well as a five digit ID number. They get $50/day, plus $20/head, once the illegals are bagged.

This could be good money on a high traffic lane. Maybe throw in bonuses for bagging mules and drug runners.

In many states, you can make citizen arrests. However, you must be able to sustain a lawsuit for each case, right or wrong. THAT, is the problem.

It would be more effective to turn in Americans who employ illegal aliens. That's going to take a little stomach to do.
