The FCC has announced its plans to deem and pass Net Neutrality. Specifically, The FCC will defy a court order to stop regulating the Internet by nonsensically deeming the Internet not to be an information service, and regulate it under Title II of the Communications Act.
That sounds mild but it has disastrous consequences.
Title II of the Communications Act gives the FCC strong and broad powers. If the FCC is allowed to put the Internet in the US under those powers, then the Obama administration will have total power to tax Internet users, regulate content on Internet servers, and even institute price controls on Internet services. Does this sound like it has anything to do with restoring anything? I dont think so.
The fact is, the idea that this Net Neutrality plan is anything but a power grab was always a lie being pushed by a couple of sources. The first is Google, which has had ties with the administration from Eric Schmidt himself advising Barack Obama, to Andrew McLaughlin whos been lobbying for Google from his job as Deputy White House CTO.

I saw the headline and stopped by to say...
When in the he!! are we going to put a stop to this crap!
ENOUGH!!!
No, not quite. I’m waiting for my armband to come in the mail.
I jerked and my mouse clicked on your name. I didn't mean to, honest. Since I found myself there I must admit I did read a little bit of your homepage. Like your idea of Code Orange.

Someone sent me this to watch re: this weekend public comment on net neutrality I hadn’t heard about.

Beck warning for those who don’t like him. I’m for the info, no matter where it comes from, I check.
He brought out McChesney of Free Press, used to author a socialist paper connected to this... it checks out.
Thanks,
I’m thinking of a new entry for the secessionists.
But it would have to have its own section away from everything else :-)
The FCC has gone rogue far as I’m concerned.
Is there any agency that hasn’t?
Pretty clear we have entered the lawlessness phase of the Obama regime.
The walls are closing in on the regime after Tuesday’s election results.
They have to shut down free speech.
It just never stops! I’m sick to death of this constant bombardment. Enough already!
NOVEMBER IS COMING!!
Bombardment is a very apt description. November cannot get here fast enough.

In their own words Why does the left want net neutrality regulation of the Internet?
Marxist Robert McChesney founded the leftist group Free Press in 2002 to press for socialist reforms of the Internet, and a heavy regulatory hand on the ownership of other media. Free Press agitates for the so-called fairness doctrine, forcing equal time for the left to respond to conservative commentary on talk radio, and set-asides for community organizers on local broadcast stations.
Since long before the founding of Free Press, Robert McChesney has been editor of the most widely circulated Marxist/ Communist magazine in the United States, Monthly Review. The University of Illinois (Urbana-Champaign) professor is current director of the Monthly Review Foundation, the tax-exempt parent of the Marxist publication.
Why is this noteworthy? After all, its tough to throw a rock in a university quad without hitting a Marxist professor. The reason is the unprecedented access Free Press enjoys with the Obama White House and Obama appointee Julius Genachowskis Federal Communications Commission.
The former communications director for Free Press (Jen Howard) was one of Genachowskis first hires as his own press liaison. Free Presss full-time lobbying operation has been called by The Washington Post a leading driver of the so-called network neutrality effort that is calling for government intervention in the Internet. On the surface, advocates for government regulation of the Internet seem to be worried about simple issues of fairness, but even a cursory examination of the leaders behind the movement shows that this is the long wedge of an effort to nationalize the means of mental production, as if it were a 1917 coal plant in Kiev.*
What we want to have in the U.S. and in every society is an Internet that is not private property, but a public utility. We want an Internet where you dont have to have a password and that you dont pay a penny to use. It is your right to use the Internet.
Robert McChesney, Free Press
[W]e have a long way to go. At the moment, the battle over network neutrality is not to completely eliminate the telephone and cable companies. We are not at that point yet. But the ultimate goal is to get rid of the media capitalists in the phone and cable companies and to divest them from control.
Robert McChesney, Free Press
*Media Capitalism, the State and 21st Century Media Democracy Struggles; An interview with Robert McChesney, The Bullet Socialist Project E-Bulletin, No. 24, August 9, 2009.
Instead of waiting for the revolution to happen, we learned that unless you make significant changes in the media, it will be vastly more difficult to have a revolution. While the media is not the single most important issue in the world, it is one of the core issues that any successful Left project needs to integrate into its strategic program.
Robert McChesney, Free Press
[T]here is no real answer but to remove brick by brick the capitalist system itself, rebuilding the entire society on socialist principles.
Robert McChesney, Free Press
We need to do whatever we can to limit capitalist propaganda, regulate it, minimize it, and perhaps even eliminate it.
Robert McChesney, Free Press
We are at a very early stage in the process. ... We are moving ahead toward a new kind of journalism. ... The result of such democratization will, in my view, be a marked shift to the political Left.
Robert McChesney, Free Press
Only government can implement policies and subsidies to provide an institutional framework for quality journalism.”
Robert McChesney and John Nichols, founders of Free Press
In The German Ideology, Marx said the following about the media: The class which has the means of material production at its disposal has control at the same time over the means of mental production, so that thereby, generally speaking, the ideas of those who lack the means of mental production are subject to it. The ruling ideas are nothing more than the ideal expression of the dominant material relationships, the dominant material relationships grasped as ideas. Since Marxs time, the means of mental production in society have expanded into a globalizing capitalist media and cultural industry that encompasses both print and electronic mediums, news and entertainment.

Remember Genachowski’s first hire as press sec was Jen Howard, also a Chavez supporter. (hired from free press)
Read this (also has Van Jones affiliation with Free Press as well):
Well......let’s see how far this goes....
They may find that THIS is their “bridge too far”!
If this turns into prior restraint, censorship, or a tax game.....they’re toast!
The libs are trying to clamp down on the internet as a means of finding out what they are doing. They are really freaking scared at how badly they are going to lose this November.
Keep watching for false flags. The way the NYC bungle on the pak bomber went, I believe that could have been a false flag. I think they’re pissed the two cops stopped the detonation (not part of the plan). Then they had to rush and put the asshat on the no-fly list and pat each other on the back as to how well they all did, falling all over each other (save the NYC cops) even though all this awesome work just caught ‘an amateur’. If he’s an amateur why are you acting like you took down one of the best terrorists ever, Janet and Eric?
It’s a living breathing opinion.
